Atlantic Beer & Oyster

Enjoyed a weekday lunch at ABO on a lovely day without crowds in downtown WP.Food was good, our server was excellent, however service from the kitchen was surprisingly slow. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived, and two other parties came in after we ordered. I'm assuming the same kitchen serves both ABO and Boca, and perhaps they were busier on the Boca side.It won't prevent us from returning, as we usually have plenty of time, but perhaps be aware if you're on a tighter schedule.

Small little place, tucked into walkway. The Key Lime Cider Beer is good!! The smoked fish dip appetizer was very good as well. We both had the fish n chips. The owner was very generous not charging us for the fish n chips because it took awhile. Happy Hour starts at 2pm on week-days!

Casual place to get awesome seafood! Situated in winter park, we got there for happy hour (around 5pm on a Friday night). It's not a huge place so get there early if you want a place to sit. There is about 4 tables inside plus 4 seats at the bar. A few tables outside. Everyone is so friendly! Happy hour is fantastic! Can get half a dozen oysters for $9 and it's fresh and delicious, they had two kinds the night we were there. Peel and eat shrimp was also $9 at happy hour, great flavor and they were cooked perfectly and had great flavors. We also got the crab legs which was also good (not happy hour included). Beers were $5! Cocktails were also a good price.I noticed in the reviews they were slow? We didn't have this problem. Everything came out fast and they checked on us all the time. We had an amazing time and the seafood was fresh and delicious! Can't wait to return.

Found this little out of the way place in winter Park. Great energy, friendly staff, good interaction with customers. Good space, clean, comfortable seating and an outdoor patio space. My husband had peel and eat shrimp cooked in a flavorful spicy brew. He loved it. I had fish and chip, which took dine time to get to me. But that said the fish was delicious, chips were ok. Ticked away in the "Hidden Garden" alley way off the main shopping street. Come and enjoy a hidden gem.

We love Atlantic Beer & Oyster! It is a small place with great atmosphere and the oysters are delicious. It is a great spot and service is always on point!

Such an awesome gem tucked in Park Ave! Im so happy I came here! The seafood was very fresh and the restaurant was CLEAN. Which is a huge plus in a seafood joint. It didn't smell over the top, it smelled delicious! Our server was the bartender and part chef. He was so patient and amazing with us! I loved the energy of the staff. The environment was quaint and comfortable. The food was fantastic! I can't wait to come back and bring friends!

I went for the happy hour. Draft beer half off 12 oysters for $25. I started off with a 6 oyster plate. They were so juicy fresh and large that I ordered another plate of 6. Counter person was friendly and he served me the beer and oysters. BTW he also shucked the oysters and did a fantastic job. There were a few other happy hours specials.

This place was tiny, crowded and actually a little challenging to find. But once you get there it is most definitely worth the wait. This looks like a typical oyster bar stand. The restaurant had six tables inside and a couple outside. Needless to say it is small! Servers had to walk sideways to get through the few tables that were there. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp. They came out quick. Cooked to perfection, well seasoned, and absolutely delicious. And, they were decent sized. Next we ordered the lobster bruschetta and the lobster wontons. The bruschetta was very fresh and clean, not heavy with sauces or fillers. The cucumbers gave it a delicious brightness. The wontons were completely different. They also were not heavily filled with useless mayo sauces. There was a citrus undertone with soy sauce. Again, absolutely delicious. Finally we ate the fish and chips. Perfectly cooked. But the fries!!!!! They were so good! They were not greasy or too salty, they were perfect.My only complaint was I felt my cocktail was watered down and the service was slow. However, they were constantly busy. They seemed to do everything, food prep, orders, serving, and cleanup. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely be back

The food is pretty good but Jesus the service is god awful slow. We came in on a Saturday & there were 11 other people inside. 1 of the couples left shortly after we did, & the other people looked like they were just hanging out chit chatting. We ordered a dozen raw oysters, the crab fondue, & the mojo oysters brûlée. We waited over an hour for out 3 things to come out & had to remind them multiple times we were still missing food. We absolutely starving leaving this place & decided to go somewhere else for more food. We probably wouldn't come back just due to the service being so slow, so don't come if you're hungry & want to eat.

This the best Happy Hour anywhere!I've spent the past two Fridays enjoying the oysters, peel and eat shrimp along with a great cocktail. And at half-price!!!This past Friday, I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew at the bar. Matt works for the company and knows his spirits. He shared a taste of one of their new wines with me and it was excellent! He also shared a taste of a special bottle of Glenfiddich. Matt's knowledge and passion for his work is so greatly appreciated. More people should be like Matt! The rest of the staff is just as hospitable and knowledgeable too. Don't miss out on a great way to start an evening.
