Antonio's in Maitland is an absolute gem! Having experienced both the refined elegance of the upstairs dining area and the cozy charm of the downstairs ambiance, I can confidently say that each visit is a delightful journey through the flavors of Italy. What sets Antonio's apart is its seamless fusion of high-quality cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere. While the upstairs boasts the sophistication of white tablecloths and impeccable service, downstairs offers a more casual yet equally satisfying experience. One of the highlights of Antonio's is undoubtedly its downstairs market. Stepping into this culinary haven feels like being transported to an Italian marketplace. From artisanal cheeses to imported wines, and from delectable desserts to authentic Italian staples, the market is a treasure trove for food enthusiasts. With each visit, Antonio's reaffirms its position as a beloved Italian staple in the Maitland area. Buon appetito!

We ate in the first floor casual restaurant. We looked over the menu and decided to get the peach ice tea. A few minutes later, the waiter brought us 2 plastic bottles of iced tea and glasses with ice. The bottles looked similar to ones you'd find at Walmart or 7-11, and definitely not something I'd expect at a sit-down restaurant.I ordered the stromboli and my wife got the pizza. The waiter never brought us any bread, even though we got it on previous visits and other people had some. Is it because we ordered 2 bread dishes? But then why didn't the waiter at least offer to bring us some and let us decide if we didn't want to eat so much bread? Then about 10 minutes later, a waitress came by with food and said, here's our pizza and pork dish. I didn't order a pork dish. A lady sitting next to me said that's what she ordered. Then the waitress took the food into the back and brought the pork dish to the other table. Then the waiter came out with the pizza, *but not my food*. He said he had placed the wrong order and my stromboli will be another 10 minutes! He didn't say what order he placed instead of mine.So I got to watch my wife eat almost all of her meal while I waited for mine. Then a manager came out and said my stromboli will be ready in a minute or two and they're putting the finishing touches on it. He brought it out soon after, apologized for the delay, and said they wouldn't charge us for the stromboli. When it finally arrived, it tasted good, but I was in a sour mood by then. Then my wife finished her meal and got to watch me eat mine.

We love the market downstairs at Antonio's. The service is friendly, especially David who is knowledgeable about wine selections and so helpful. They have stayed busy through the pandemic thanks to their loyal customers and their grocery offerings. Our favorite is their pizza and pasta dishes, although all their food is outstanding. This has been our weekly date night spot during the social distancing quarantine. We'd order a pizza and take it over to Lake Lily Park for a nice lakeview picnic.

My wife and I were steered to Antonio's cafe via Zagat reviews over 21 years ago. It remains our first choice for Italian food, pizza and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and the staff extraordinary. Also an awesome wine selection from which you can buy a bottle and for a negligible cork fee, enjoy it with dinner. Highly recommend !

Good food & liquor/ wine selection. I love the cafe because you can sit and enjoy or order to go at the counter and still receive the same quality.

Excellent location and experience. Feels like a dining experience in New York City. In regards to the downstairs cafe, the service is top-notch and amongst the best it could ever be. Menu options are satisfactory. Food quality is A+. Prices are fantastic! Ambience is great for dating, dining after work, or dining before a movie. Highly recommend. More casual downstairs than upstairs. Fun and energetic atmosphere. Wish there were more restaurants like this in society.

I have been coming to Antonio's market and cafe for many many years. One of my favorite spots when I'm in Maitland. The ambience and service has always been five star. Their pizza and salads are delicious. Never disappointing.I had the privilege to meet both Tim and Mike. They were definitely the icing of the cake. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of my waiter but he was outstanding. Friendly and attentive not only to our table but to all the tables in his area. I can't wait to come back.
