Food was AMAZING. Being from EPTX 915 its difficult to find great Mexican food in Orlando Fl. The decor and ambiance is on point. This place hit the spot. Sadly it was dead in here but OMG the food was delicious. I told my wife I might even come back tomorrow!!! The server, JENESSA was outstanding, very nice, informative and on her A GAME. I can't wait to come back and hopefully this place get a lot more business. Its definitely deserves it so come check it out!!!

The food is good authentic southern Mexican food. The portions are small and expensive. Deep pockets or small appetite is what you need if you want to enjoy this place.

Reopened as 'Mexico 1800', this restaurant was by far one of the BEST Mexican restaurant experiences I've ever had.Upon walking in, there was a Dj on a booth in the corner and we were greeted almost immediately. We chose to sit at the bar considering it was Cinco. While there we noticed we were getting a little hot so we turned around and saw that they had tía in the back making fresh tortillas - hence we were near the open stove which was no problem, we had the menus to fan with!Everyone there was so welcoming and nice! We ordered some house margs and an 1800 margarita too. For some Cinco fun, we ordered ourselves a shot of Patron and that's when we got to have a talk with the owner about what his favorite tequilas are. He even offered a sample so we could taste why 1800 was his favorite.I absolutely loved the attention to detail and how personable everyone was! The food was absolutely delicious - I ordered the chicken chimichanga (as a safe option) and my husband had the tongue tacos and both were amazingly seasoned and portioned.I hope to see them grow!

The food was your typical chain Mexican food. Basic flavors and spices. Nothing really special. The service was normal. The restaurant was not busy and we did have to wait extra for refills so nothing extraordinary there. The inside is a typical restaurant. The skinny margarita was good and was made pretty strong so that would be my highlight. I would try it again to see if I tried something else and it would be better.

Went to this place last night for dinner and it was the most disappointing dining experience I have had in a while. Now let me just say this I can forgive if it is just one thing .... Wellll it was everything .Baja fish taco : those were 2 STRINGS of tilapia you can tell it was frozen and they were fried to their crispiest with a thick layer of breading. They were so crunchy I thought I was biting into biscotti. ( yes biscotti) .Ceviche: The seafood looked minced , this is my first encounter with this type of ceviche and can we talk about spicy , my daughter's eye were just watering. She didn't finish it of course. My friend ordered steak tacos and they came with rice and beans. Don't try them. The rice was so bland. Nothing was good NOTHING. Oh yes the vibe you ask. Well I've driving by cemeteries that were louder. It was a ghost town . I ordered a margarita and apparently it was 2-4-1 well don't even want the one. Oh no wait a minute , we shared the table with a multitude of flies I was able to get one to pose for me on a napkin. The end. Btw I don't recommend.

New and improved! Couldn't recommend a better authentic Mexican restaurant in the central Florida area. Now don't get confused, México 1800 moved into Alebrije Mexican Grill, and it's better in every way. The tortillas are made in house, the food is all fresh and delicious, the menu is full and so will your belly! Not to mention that it has a full tequila bar within! The service was immaculate. I couldn't recommend a better team to work at the restaurant. The owner is very personal and talked with us all about the ins and outs of the tequila industry and all of his aspects. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to come here again!

Best Mexican restraunt by downtown Sanford. Tried this place out the other day and it is great. Loved everything I had. The fajitas were tender and juicy and there were plenty. I do wish I got more rice and beans those portions seemed a bit small but they were really good. The drinks were good as well. I like the inside it looks new, clean, and festive! Our waitress was very nice and the service is fast. Would definitely reccomend!

My husband and I have been to Alebrije quite a few times since they opened and always find ourselves going back! I feel the salsa is actually better now than when they first opened. The steak nachos are listed as an appetizer, but they give a HUGE portion. So, my husband always orders that as his meal. In fact, Alebrije is his favorite local spot to order nachos! The steak just melts in your mouth. I have gotten a few different items across our visits - fish tacos, birria quesadillas, etc. Everything has been delish! The only thing I haven't cared for is the agua fresca, but that may just be my personal taste preferences! Parking is plentiful. Ambiance is pretty modern. We've never had to wait for a table. Service has been a little on the slow side occasionally, but always very nice.Check them out!

I will start off by saying the restaurant is very authentic. The staff is great and they accommodated us quickly. The restaurant is soo beautiful and big! They offer lots of different drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Their horchata was one of the best I've ever had. Their chips were so crunchy and you can tell they make them fresh and the salsa is so tasty. I couldn't stop eating them! I ordered the churrasco steak and asked for it to be medium. When it came, it looked extra well done. I thought maybe it was just a on the outside, but it was really dry and not tasteful at all. It didn't even come with the chimichurri sauce we thought it would come with. My husband got the choripollo and it was the best we've ever tried! I will definitely be back to try something else.

Delicious food in a bright, colorful place. While our server was in training, and the restaurant was completely empty, we had a nice dinner here with friends. The dirty nachos were very good. I ordered the carnitas tacos. The pork was a little dry, but very tasty. My husband got the Baja fish tacos with rice and beans. They didn't have frozen drinks, but the strawberry margarita was tasty. The classic was okay. If in the area again, we would come back again for sure.
