This has been our favorite sushi spot since we found it many years ago. Highly recommend the Golden Roll for a fun hot and cold in your mouth at the same time experience. My son loves it and I really can't get him to order anything else at this point. All of your traditional favorites are fabulous. I wish they had Hiabtchi Bento box selection. Their Hibatchi is delicious. They are a fabulous, delicious little spot and we are so glad because we love to support local spots before chains.

I don't know what happened to Aki Sushi. It's gone so far downhill since the last time we ate there I can't believe it's still in business.We ordered six rolls (basic ones, not fancy), onion soup, spring rolls and a side of noodles which was about $46 with the tip.The first thing I noticed was the three spring rolls were now two and the side of sweet chili sauce amounted to about half a teaspoon. I hate it when restaurants are cheap with their condiments! Build it into the price if you're so worried about condiment costs! These spring rolls were $2 each and you can't afford to give me a small side of sweet chili sauce? It's not like there was any labor involved - these were two frozen spring rolls they dropped in the fryer.Then the noodles - first of all, this was a small amount (usually with a side of noodles or rice they pack the container full) and these noodles were banging around in the half-empty to-go container.The noodles were greasy and until I seasoned them myself had ZERO flavor. The restaurant didn't send any soy sauce either (for the sushi) so I had to use my own.The onion soup also tasted completely flat - no flavor at all. Like boiled water with a couple of mushroom slices.Then the sushi - no flavor! Not in the sushi rice, the nori, the wasabi was even tasteless. How can you even make sushi that tastes like nothing?But then, in the yellowtail roll - A BONE!In all my many years of eating sushi I have never encountered a fish bone in any sushi. It's simply never occurred. What a colossal disappointment.The quality of Aki Sushi is subpar - no care or concern was put in anything they served us, no seasoning, no flavor, everything was small, cheaply made and put together. There was no level of quality.Needless to say, we will not have a return visit, nor should anyone waste their time and money on their lousy food.Shame on you Aki Sushi - how far you've fallen!

Aki is my go to for sushi in Ocala. The service is always top notch. It's a small, quaint little restaurant that is always relatively quiet. We love this place and go at least every couple weeks.

The BEST carry out or delivery sushi. I love their ginger salad as well. I have ordered delivery countless times and the orders always come right on time or early and correct. Service is wonderful.

My family loves Aki for takeout. We do occasionally dine in and sometimes find that there is a wait because there is limited space. The rolls are great and affordable and there are great Hibachi grill options if someone in your family/party doesn't like sushi. I definitely recommend Aki for takeout!

Yum!! So glad I found this delicious little sushi place after moving out here to Ocala from Jax. Great menu, lots of variety to choose from. I've ordered many times, both sit down and delivery, and service has always been excellent, quick, friendly, and exactly as ordered. The restaurant is clean and very cozy. I love coming to Aki Sushi!

Rice was not fried, just left white and paid $5. Upgrade for that . Steak was terribly tough, hard to chew . Manager said it's been 6 minutes talking on the phone and she's too busy to care about food problem on a slow Sunday night $65.00 order .
