I am conflicted on my rating because there are two parts of this dining experience that factor in: the food and the experience. Food overall is like a hampton inn buffet, with eggs, waffles, bacon and fruit. It wasnt anything special or really appetizing to me, but with a big day ahead, it is good to fill up on those meals, I don't think it is worth the cost but you are paying for the princesses. The actual princess presentation was worth it's weight in gold! For the little girls, up to the grandmas, it was VERY cool to see so many princesses, and they take a lot of time to be warm and personable. I enjoyed watching my daughters, sisters, and parents get giddy to see their favorite. Spoiler: No ELSA! My daughter luckily had 2 costumes on her so got to be dressed to see ariel and then elsa on the frozen ever after ride. You'd think if they're in Norway you'd see anna or elsa, just something to note.

Well, if you have children, this is one of the best character breakfasts you can take them to to meet several princesses, if you're coming for food, this is not the place you want to go. Everything we had wasn't very good, so we basically lived off the scrambled eggs and some pastries. But it's your typical family style breakfast. None of the pastries had any flavor, all the food was bland and greasy. And as you should expect with Disney, the price per person, and the overall total of the bill was steep. Service was great, however! Everyone certainly works very hard to here. If you have children and want them to meet their favorite princesses go for it. Otherwise I don't see a reason to come here and waste your money on terrible food

We were treated like royalty ! No demand was too silly. It was a birthday meal that left us bursting ! Truly something for everyone ! Princesses were lovely ! And our server Charlotte was the best ! Meatballs and lingon berry WITH mashed potatoes is my favorite ! Pre meal spread was ALSO my favorite. I just love lingon berry i guess ! The vinaigrette on the salad was so good. Yummy cheese and breads! Loved the caramelized goat cheese. I LOOOVE POTATO SALAD ! i ate so much. This was definitely an experience worth waiting for !

Had a 7:30pm reservation for dinner. My 2 year old was exhausted by this time after a full day at the park but managed to take pictures with 5 princesses. We saw Snow White, belle, Ariel, rapunzel, and Jasmine. The meal was expensive (200+) for 2 adults and a toddler but worth it if you want to take photos and spend some 1:1 time with each princess. The dinner was AYCE, we started with salad, potato salad, bread and cheese. Main plate included salmon with cabbage, chicken with roasted veggies, and Swedish style meatballs over mash potatoes. They brought over a separate plate for my husband who has a dairy intolerance. We skipped the dessert platter because it was too much food and had it to go instead. The Princesses were all very nice and patient with my reserved toddler but I personally wouldn't do this again bc of the high price tag.

Surprisingly - I really enjoyed dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for their family style breakfast. I made reservations for 11:15 am so we could do some rides prior, but still make it for their breakfast menu. I had low expectations since you are basically paying to meet/greet Disney Princesses while you are there. However - the food was great and the server came back several times to ask if we wanted refills of anything. My family and I got to meet all the Disney Princesses as well. Towards the end of our meal we were asked if we got to meet all the princesses so it's nice that they check too. Overall: great choice for princess dining in the parks and a perfect midday break.

Not worth the money anymore. Super disappointing- no kids included in the princess parade and no professional photo included. Eggs were bland and awful.

As some of the other Epcot restaurants have progressively gotten worse, this one wins the race. From a former full buffet with classic Norwegian fare including pickled herring and diverse salads, via an appetizer buffet, to no buffet, no a la carte offers, just a bunch of bland food served family style. This would be a one star review, if not for the delightful staff and ambiance.

The character / princess aspect was fun, but the food wasn't good enough to justify the high price tag. Sure it's all you can eat, but the food isn't worth eating that much of it. One and done for us. There are better options at Epcot.

It's a family style menu, so they bring out the courses for you to share, and there was plenty of food, my favorite was the meatballs with mash, very tasty. Swrvice was great, the young man serving us was so soft spoken it was hard to hear him as it does get pretty loud in there. The Princess' showing up was why we were there for my grandsons bday dinner. They were all so beautiful & let him talk their ears off It was alot of money but #1, it's Disney and #2, it was for my grandson..money well spent!

This character dining did not meet up to the build up nor the expectations based on other character dining experiences where the characters were great, but so was the food and the service. Here, at least on our visit, the only thing good about it was the character experience for my granddaughter, which at the end, is really all that mattered. BUT when considering the cost of the experience, NOT WORTH IT! The food was mediocre at best and our service was awful. It all started when our name was called. It was 4 of us and in front of the hostess, I told my group to go ahead I was going to take a quick picture of my granddaughter in front of the Anna and Elsa topiaries which was literally right in front of the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. They refused to seat them until I was done. Then when our waitress brought the bread and "stuff" she placed it on the table and walked away without telling us what any of it was. We had to taste it to know. Just not what we have experienced at Cinderella's Castle, Topolinos, Polynesian, Cape May or Chef Mickey. It was seriously lacking in all aspects EXCEPT the character interaction. Our drinks sat empty without a checkin from our server and so did the family style dining plate which we wanted an item or two replenished. We had to reach out to her for her to get us some more meatballs and refill our drinks and then didn't refill the other empty drinks at our table just mine. And of greater disappointment was the lack of importance placed on my granddaughter's birthday celebration. I had told her from the onset. When the desert tray came, I put on the candle I had brought with us, she lit it and left. Didn't even join us in singing to my granddaughter or at the very least, stick around with a smile. A true disappointment. Will not be doing this character experience again. Truly terrible service unlike what you would expect from any Disney World establishment, much less a character dining experience.
