AJ's Pizza Joint

This is the best pizza I've had in Florida, hands down. The Supreme New Yorker was what we ordered to celebrate a special occasion (we have been eating keto for over a year now) but wanted pizza that day. Our friends that joined us also said it's the best pizza in FL! The dough is perfectly chewy, the ricotta tastes like it was made right before it went into the oven, and the sausage and pepperoni were perfect!Order your next pie from AJ's - you won't be disappointed!

So happy to have tried the newest pizza spot in historic downtown Winger Garden. Located at the original location of the previous Winter Garden Pizza Co. this restaurant is in the heart of Plant street. The wait is at least 30 minutes on a Saturday night but well worth the wait. Our server was so nice and friendly, and the decor is fun with collage of musical and movie stars to the simple white subway tile with retro diner style barstools. We were hungry and ordered some garlic -nots for our appetizer. Though while waiting go and check out the restroom, both are gold themed with the magical "red push" button for a fun surprise. Sorry boys, yours is missing some cool vibes, iykyk.Definitely loved our pizza choices with my white pizza called Goldie made with crispy prosciutto, ricotta, caramelized onions and Mikes hot honey drizzle. While my husband loved his Detroit style Thor! pizza made with spicy sausage, meatballs and ricotta. We would definitely come back again and try some of the other menu options for sure. Thanks again for the fun times.

This is a new place in downtown Winter Garden. They advertise as offering New York and Detroit style pizza. For an appetizer we ordered the garlic knots. They were a bit salty but the sauce was great!! It left me eager for my pizza.We ordered the Thor, a Detroit style pizza with sausage and pepperoni. My wife and daughter ordered the Lombardi which is a cheese New York style pizza.The Thor comes out with the (expected) caramelized crust on the edges and is on a focaccia type bread. The sauce is fantastic and the crust was spot on! As a Chicago guy, I know pizza.... This is the best pizza I have had since moving here 7 years ago. Kudos to AJ's! FINALLY, a decent pizza here in central Florida!!

We were in the area and wanted pizza. Saw this on Yelp (of course) and had to try it. Being from the NYC area it looked like a winner. Yes, it checked all the boxes for what we like. Thin crispy crust, great sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Some might say service was slow but it's made to order and is worth the wait. Our server was on top of everything from start to finish. The restaurant has ample seating and a nice bar area as well as seating by the pizza prep area where you can have a conversation with the staff. The gentleman I spoke with to compliment the pizza was from Connecticut. Great place and worth a stop if you're in the area. Enjoy!

Stopped by during a music festival, so they were slammed but luckily we found two seats at the bar. We got to watch the team work together so flawlessly during a very hectic night. I had the hot topic to drink, it was refreshing! We started with the meatball trio which was delicious before digging into our hot honey pizza. Everything was great! Awesome spot

I heard about this new spot online last week and knew I had to come in this week! This place is exactly what downtown Winter Garden needed - a go-to, quality pizza spot.We went on Tuesday evening not sure what to expect, and without reservations or takeout yet, we did wait close to an hour to be seated, but we were in no rush and knew the spot was new, so we didn't mind. Once we did get our table, our server was attentive, kind, and efficient, and the staff did a great job handling the large crowd. We kept it pretty simple with just some of their garlic knots and a pepperoni pizza, but they were both stand out items to us! The quality was stellar on both the knots and pizza, and they were packed with flavor. I haven't been this immediately impressed in awhile! The knots are on the smaller side and full of flavor, and the pizza was very reasonably priced with a perfect crust. It had the right about of crunch with a soft end crust you actually want to eat! The cocktails looked great too, and I can't wait to return for some.The ambiance is cute and cozy, with fun iconic photos with pizza added in lining the floor, sleek plates at the tables, and fun wall art. There's even a dance party in the bathrooms! I'm so excited about this new spot - happy to have more good pizza nearby.

Went their first week after the soft opening. We really enjoyed our lunch at the newest addition to Winter Garden, AJ's Pizza Joint (located across the street from Thai Blossom). We did a traditional pepperoni and a build your own white sauce with prosciutto and chili roasted pineapple (don't come at me for the pineapple please ). Everything was delicious. Our bartender, Kara was fantastic and we loved the decor. The bathroom was the funniest part! We met one of the owners AJ and he was a very nice man. Smaller place so may be hard to get a seat. One of the hostesses was on the ruder side but the other two were sweet. 4/5 out of all! We are happy to have a new place to eat at! It is a little pricy but it's worth it.

Excellent pizza !! Very cute cozy atmosphere!!! Friendly staff! Will be a regular place now!

Being at the bar seeing the pizza being made was the best experience ever, the food was really good, the service was fast and not so complicated, if I could give 10000 stars I would, loved the place. By the way, I'm 10 years old. :)Best.Pizza.Ever.:)

wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly staff. Sitting next to the kitchen/prep area gives a unique experience definitely recommend
