I visited this restaurant for my father's birthday and was genuinely impressed. We made a reservation for 7 p.m., but even if we hadn't, there wasn't a wait, which was a nice surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the live band playing that night added such a special touch--it made the evening even more enjoyable for my dad.I ordered the Picada for 2 People, which was a generous platter featuring an assortment of meats, including steak, chicken, and pork, along with Colombian sausage. It was accompanied by arepas, tostones, and papa criolla, making it a flavorful and satisfying meal. Honestly, it was a lot of food--even for two people!Overall, the experience was fantastic, from the atmosphere to the food and service. I highly recommend this spot for a fun night out or a special occasion.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The lemonade and mora were DELICIOUS and the food was absolutely to die for. I was eating the empanadas like chips! So good have to come here during lunch or dinner! the service was fast and the waiters always kept themselves busy even though there were only 3 people there right after opening. Super cute decor would definitely come back

First, the ambiance was awesome. They had some live music, and the person singing went around and got people singing. The service was pretty quick and the server was always ready to help. The food was really good, the taste and the flavor are just awesome. This is some really good Colombian Cuisine. Definitely recommend it!

Five stars, absolutely amazing, loved every bite!! I ordered the picanha, sweet plantains, and rice -- the perfect combination! My husband and nephew ordered the platter for two & added picanha steak. These are two dudes who can put it down and it was the perfect amount of food! Our server wasn't the greatest but the food came out quickly and it was easy enough to flag her down when needed. We came on a Friday night so the place filled up pretty quickly and there was live music that was really fun but got pretty loud. Fun atmosphere overall and highly recommend as the food was absolutely delicious!!

Poor service. They brought out the appetizers with my meal so imagine the wait for that. I asked for water twice and nothing. Coffee takes 15 minutes to bring out. It got 2 stars from me cause the bistec i ordered had good flavoring. If it weren't for that I would have giving this place a negative 1 star. The ambiance was nice. If only it matched the service. Oh, and I ordered coffee with no milk and the bright me two coffees with milk. Can't make this up. And I'm sitting at the restaurant as I write this review.

Nice ambiance, clean and large restaurant. I can imagine it being great for birthdays or to gather with friends. I did find the prices a bit pricey but in consideration to the area, it makes sense. The soup of the day (sancocho de res) was delicious and kids portion was a generous size. What I was upset about was that the waitress told me I could substitute my kids menu from French fries to beans. However, when the bill came it was added as a side of beans. When I asked her about it she told me the back told her she couldn't do it so she just added it as a side... ummm ok? You weren't going to tell me?? Or bring me the fries that I still had to pay for?? Its literally only a $5 add on but its about the principle of communicating. So a kids menu for a 2 year old went from $11 to $16.

Everyone loved their meals. Simply smashing and drinks were perfectly made as well. Quick service and not super packed.

Insanely delicious food options, drinks and ambiance are what you'll find at @aguardienterestaurante Their menu options are an homage to Colombian cuisine with everything ranging from their classic empanadas to bountiful picanhas (what we ordered!), and don't even get us started on their cocktail menu.4 stars were given for service because although initially our server was very attentive, he eventually left to attend a large party and left us hanging for a good 25-30 to close out our bill. We ended needing to have him located by another server to have him come back to finish our service. Something that the establishment management might want to monitor more closely in the future. I always noticed this place driving by to and from the Orange County Convention Center. It is on International Drive on a strip mall. Lots of parking right in front. After a late night at the convention center, we wanted to just sit down, have a cocktail (or 2) and a bite to eat. We didn't have much options since it was late and most places were closed or would be closing soon.I checked the hours for Aguardiente and they were open til 10pm that night . There were still a good amount of patrons in the restaurant when we got there but were seated immediately. The ambiance was more like a restaurant/bar setting. Lots of big screen TV's. It was a bit on the louder side but manageable.While deciding what to order, we noticed while looking around that many tables were ordering a dish which was heaping of food. After inquiring from our waitress, we were told it was the Picada. There were 2 types of Picada and you have a choice of size for either 2 or 4 people. The amount of food for the Picada for 2 was HUGE. It came with several items such as steak, chicken, sausage, plantains, yuca. It was served with a pico de gallo. We also had the Lomo De Res Salteado which was a steak dish in a savory broth with some red onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and green onions. It was delicious and also a big portion. It came with fries (which was added to the same plate with the steak and broth so I would recommend asking for it on the side so it doesn't get soggy -unless y'all like it that way!) in addition to the fries, it came with 2 more sides. We also ordered the empanada appetizers. Good amount to share and tasty! The food was excellent, the portions were huge. We all had take home boxes for our left overs. Our waitress was very attentive. I would definitely go back next time I am in the area!

It was delicious! We enjoyed the food and the service. The food was great. We ordered ribs.
