Agave Azul Cocina Mexicana - Winter Park

My go to Mexican fine dining restaurant. Ok, i like me some street tacos. I like some quesobirria. But when i want to go out, have a pitcher of margs and some good food with wifey and daughter and baby girl, we go here. Its convenient, people are friendly and the food is very good.Thank you @agave azul for being an Orlando institution.

My absolute favorite solo date spot for lunch. For 5 years I've come to this location to enjoy lunch solo to work or compress. The food , the ambiance and the service are always amazing !I love the chips and queso , all the desserts especially the flan or churros but my go to entree is always the chimichanga. It's a great portion and my favorites are shrimp or chicken. Flavorful and filling for sure.The margaritas are also very delicious and it's a must have or 3 when I come with my husband

I forgot how much I like it this Mexican restaurant it doesn't do too much. It has great vibes and I really do enjoy the cocktails and food and it's priced at a great price. However, this time I visited Isa at the bar with my friend and the service was actually really bad. It took a long time for the bartenders to take our drink orders and out food orders. The food came out very quickly, so hopefully this was just a bad day but other than that I really enjoyed my meal and my drinks.

I love this place! It's so good and very consistent with their quality and service. I've been for lunch and dinner but my most recent visit was specifically for happy hour. I was so pleased. I had an order of the empanadas and the sopes bistec. I also had 2 margaritas. The bartenders were top notch and the food was so good. I've had several things from the menu and have loved it all fromThe ceviche to the California bowl, the burritos, you name it, it's good!

We walked in on a Saturday night (9pm) and it was still packed - at that point I just knew it's gonna be a good meal. It wasn't a long wait until we got seated outdoor.I ordered shrimp tacos and that was an amazing decision. The grilled shrimps were huge, flavorful, and cooked extremely well. And it was definitely quite filling along with the Mexican rice (taste amazing by the way - it was cooked with chicken broth) and beans.Overall really great food and service. Couldn't have asked for a better way to end my trip :)

The hostess was fantastic, offering us invaluable tips for navigating all four Disney theme parks. That brief interaction set the tone for the entire meal. Our waitress was equally attentive, even though we were seated outside--where you often get overlooked. She recommended the chimichanga, and it did not disappoint. I also had two margaritas, and they were just right--I'm a sucker for a well-crafted margarita.I had already planned my dining spots in Orlando, so this place was an unexpected wild card, like drawing a +4 in Uno when you're about to win. It was a game-changer, and I've already recommended it to someone visiting Orlando next week. The outdoor decor was simple--just a table and chairs, no frills or fancy setups. But the food and service more than made up for it.

This is sort of a typical Mexican restaurant to me; you know what to expect, and you get what you expect.My friend got the baja fish tacos with flour tortillas. She finished her plate, so I guess it was good.I got the nachos. I don't usually like two kinds of meat on my nachos, but these were good. It wasn't overloaded with chicken or ground beef. All of the toppings had an appropriate amount, and each chip had everything on it. I had to get an extra side of sour cream cos there wasn't much on my plate to begin with, but all in all, the nachos were good and stayed crispy throughout the meal. Do yourself a favor and get a side of tequila bacon and sprinkle it on your nachos. Yeah, you read that right: tequila bacon. I saw it as a topping on one of the salads and asked if I could have some on the side and they said yes. That added something extra to the nachos for sure.

My wife and I absolutely love Agave Azul! The food is delicious and the service is great.

Me and my family came here one weekend afternoon and enjoyed our visit. The ambiance is busy and (extremely!!) loud, to the point where you must nearly yell to converse, but it does add to the experience if you don't mind. As for the food, we all enjoyed our dishes. They're typically expensive for the area and each dish comes with a large amount, enough for nearly two meals. I got carnitas as per usual and loved the tender and flavorful pork. Also comes with a variety of veggies. The beans were not good in my opinion as I do prefer black beans, and these had a mushy texture with little flavor. I did order a double espresso and that was rich and well made. Definitely a must for Orlando to try at least once!
