This place is awesome! They have a great selection of cigars and drinks. I'll definitely be coming back. Jhoan and Paola are the best.

Stopped in looking for a new place to add to my neighborhood rotation. I'm the only person at the bar on a slow evening, but was still asked to provide a credit card or pay immediately.Saw they conveniently tack on a 18% gratuity and present it in a sneaky way on the receipt to imply it is mandatory. Bad move, bad move. Maybe do this in a tourist area, but NEVER in a neighborhood bar.FAIL!Wont be back again.Oh and the female bartender/pimp manager vibe is so off putting! I cant believe you do that at a neighborhood bar???

I met a good friend down at Admiral and this his fav spot. I must say I enjoyed myself here. Very nice spot with good vibes, they have a little small selection of cigars that are overpriced but every cigar lounge I go to I always support the shop. The drinks were pretty good as we had their Happy hour, but even still my bill was high with "Happy hour". Stuff was very nice but was acting somewhat strange as the night got busier and hours passed by and we were still there smoking & drinking. One of the waiters came by and told us he had to give us our checks as they were about to change shifts, and we understood and said no problem, but as the night still went on, the same staff was still there working so that was very weird! Besides that, I enjoyed the ambiance and nice location where they are set up at.

The place is great but the staff can do better, much better regarding customer service and communication. Been going for years for ladie's night and the last 3-4 visits I've been told by a young man and the two ladies at the bar that there had never been such an event there even that's the reason I go with my party and they have been the same people who have hosted ladies night before. They charge the ladies full price for the beer/wine even that's advertised different for the event. The hours advertised are different when you come in as they choose to close early at times if the place is not busy so you're left clueless on to why. So be careful when you show up at a decent time and 20 minutes later they decide to close early. Cigars are great, ambiance is great but the staff could be better, much better.

A fantastic lounge and great space for drinks and food. They only have a couple of choices for something to munch on but that's not the point of a cigar lounge. In my review I will write about the following: service, drinks, cigars, employees, ambiance and will give each category a s 1-5. 5 being amazing out of this world and 1 being very bad and needs to be revised asap. Service: (5-5 stars) amazing bar back service! Bilingual employees is always a plus and they vibe great with the customers. They are extremely respectful and will work with you if needed. Only thing I'd say about the service is, it would be a plus if the employees would be more knowledgeable of the cigars in the PERFECT humidor. But if your going into a cigar bar and lounge I expect you to maybe know some good info already. (If you would like additional info about cigars feel free to respond to this review, as I am a frequent cigar consumer) Drinks: (5-5 stars) nothing to complain about here. Their mixed drinks and straight drinks all hit the spot. Pretty hard to mess this part up.Cigars: (5-5 stars) WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SELECTION OF BRANDS! Cigar lounges ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CIGAR QUALITY!! THAT IS THE FAULT TO THE MANUFACTURER OR INTRANSIT SHIPPING. Employees: (6-5 stars) you may have noticed I put 6 stars for this section. That is Bcs ALL of their employees are nothing short of hard working, respectful, smart and nice. If your A CREEPY PERSON YOU ARENT WELCOME IN SOCIETY AND HERE! That is something I completely understand and respect. If you fuck around you will find out. And I love that! Let's all just be nice to each other. Ambiance: (3.9-5 stars) this is the only category that this place lacks a little. It can be quite loud due to the music. And the variety of music is lacking, a more mixed up playlist would be nice. And since the area is smaller I'd like to see better utilization of the outside space. But I'm not a business owner so who am I to judge. Maybe more tables or something I'm not sure. Overall I love the owner and the drinks but mostly the cigars. 5/5 rating with a 10/10 feel, I highly recommend

The Admiral is a nice cigar lounge for the Baldwin Park area, it isn't too big with much seating inside, but has couch seating outside. The cigar options were smaller than I expected, but found a cigar to enjoy with a glass of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. There is a television inside that will show sports, and it almost turns into a sports bar. I'd like to return and look at more of their cigar options with the their bourbon and whiskey.

I used to like this place a lot until I realized they automatically add an 18% gratuity fee. I understand it if you are getting some service, but they will charge you a gratuity fee when you pick your own cigars from the cabinets and walk them to the register. Had nothing to drink just in and out cigar need. Didn't use the facilities, didn't get any service. Basically, it would be like the cashier at the gas station charging you an 18% up-charge to sell you cigarettes

Great staff. Great drinks. Nice cigar selection. Veteran owned. It's just a great spot. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

The place is cool with good cigars and drinks, however I won't be going back because of the staffs vibe. They pushed me towards a review without even asking how I was doing. When I'm looking to spend my hard earned cash I like to be treated like I'm a person not just a review. How you make the customer feels matters!

This place is a true hidden gem! The staff is friendly, the selection of cigars and liquor is impressive, and everything is spotless. The atmosphere is fantastic! Most importantly, the ventilation is excellent. I can't wait to come back!
