Strong coffee honey! Good pre workout I guess. Cute coffee shop adorned with local art! Needed a pick me up in Orlando and this spot was perfect! My basic black coffee vibes!

Food. Drinks. Service. Ambiance. This establishment hits all requisites and is likely a hidden gem. I'll likely work from this coffee shop each visit to Orlando.

People are okay with being mediocre.... The name of this place is Aroma not Achilles. Probably changed ownershipI entered and the only person behind the counter was on her phone and there she stayed, never acknowledging me.Great first impression!!! I left. Not a chance ill spend $10 on a coffee done by that unprofessional person

This place is interesting. Eclectic decor and knowledgeable staff. It definitely give bohemian vibes. I enjoyed my turmeric latte, a little on the sweet side but still delicious.

Couldn't even make it out of the parking lot without needing to write a review. We just happened to be next door for lunch and needed a sweet pick me up. We headed inside and the interior was super cute and artsy. I get anxiety when I order stuff, so I rushed myself and asked the barista her recommendation between the affogato and the crème brûlée chai tea. She suggested the latter. Holy moly this is the first ever coffee to make me say OMG. That's it. That is all.

I popped in here when I was visiting a friend who lives nearby. Friend does zero research on what's in their neighborhood. After getting lunch at an overpriced Thai place on I drive, I needed something to redeem the trip and found this cute little coffee shop. Tucked away into a strip mall, Achilles doesn't bring the bland exterior vibe inside. The walls are covered in all sorts of funky art. The chairs are mismatched. There's chalkboard signs, board games, and books. There's even a weird vending machine where my friend bought a mystery 90s item. The lighting is a little dimmer than a chain location. It reminds me of a place I used to go 10+ years ago that closed and got turned into a mediocre slice shop. The world needs more of these little treasures. We went up to the counter to grab a menu and see the options. The folks behind the counter were patient with us while we figured our order out. I joked that my friend should order an affogato because they're a less common coffee shop find. "What's an affogato?" Well, imagine a coke float but with espresso instead of soda. Sold. I went with a very predictable boring latte but I wasn't really feeling their seasonal drink. My mug was perfect, my friend found out about the evil temptress named affogato, and it was an absolute redemption after lunch. I only wish I had a place like this near me because I miss having a coffee shop that also has events like tarot nights, spoken word, and sea shanty nights!

I used to come here frequently when it was named Achilles but now it's named Arome. It's almost the same fabulous hip place but with notable improvements, such as the couches/ chairs, decor, and lighting. The food is terrific. I stayed for several hours to get computer work done and had the avocado toast, drip coffee, and an affogato. Everything was delish. The quality of their coffee is top notch, not acidic or overly roasted. The home run was the affogato. See pic. It's the best I've ever had (and I've had many). The quality of the ingredients shines through. The cafe is extremely clean and comfortable. The people who work here are FAST to clear and wipe down the tables, and so pleasant and friendly too!Ten stars if I could.
