All-vegan Cuban cuisine -- sign me up. It's not obvious you're at the place when you walk in, as there is apparently also a vegan soul food place and ice cream place that share the space. Plus it's a bit puzzling who works for what business. I know they're fairly new but the operation doesn't seem to be running too smoothly as yet...For the Cuban food, you order at the kiosk upfront -- if there are slowpokes in front of you, which there were when I arrived, it can take quite a while to even put your order in. You can build your own plate of various proteins and sides. I got 2 proteins (plant-based mojo pork and plant-based chorizo) plus 1 side (Cuban-style black beans) for dine-in ($19 plus tax). I would've added some veggies but they were none on the menu (!).My food took a while to come out -- around 30 minutes. But, once it did, I forgot about the wait. The two proteins I got were delicious, if a tad salty -- I should've ordered some rice to go along with it. The pork was definitely the highlight of the two plant-based meats. The black bean soup was also incredible -- maybe the best black bean soup I've ever had. Damn. So, other than some operational hiccups and a lack of veggies on the menu, the food here is awesome. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to eat at! Walk into this beautiful, rustic inspired diner if you're looking for a vegan option with some spunk. A Lo Vegano brings veganism and spanish food together making mouth watering dishes bursting with flavor. Not only was the food amazing but the service was impeccable and the employees and owner were very personable. The food portions were huge and big enough to share. The "steak" was delicious and so was the yuca with mojo. I absolutely love a vegan spot and when infused with spanish inspiration it's lovely. This place was a great! We will definitely be coming back! 10/10

A Lo Vegano is, without a doubt, the BEST vegan Cuban food I have ever had the honor and privilege of experiencing. From the very first bite to the last, every aspect of this meal was a love letter to authentic Cuban cuisine--crafted without compromise and overflowing with care, passion, and incredible flavor. As someone who is 39 weeks pregnant, with cravings as specific as they are intense, I cannot begin to express how deeply satisfying and nostalgic this meal was. It transported me right back to afternoons in my Abuela's kitchen, where the air was filled with warmth, love, and the unmistakable aroma of comfort food made from the heart. A Lo Vegano perfectly captured that essence in every detail, from the smell to the taste. Not one portion of this meal disappointed. The team and staff at A Lo Vegano are nothing short of extraordinary. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made the experience even more special. As my family and I waited for our order, they consistently checked on us, sharing smiles, warmth, and little moments that made us feel like more than just customers--they made us feel like family. Their thoughtfulness went above and beyond when they gifted me a bag of goodies and the sweetest dessert, knowing I could go into labor at any moment. To say this meal was made with L.O.V.E. would be an understatement. It wasn't just food--it was a beautiful act of service and connection. As for the menu, let me tell you, every single item was an absolute masterpiece. I'm talking about the shrimp pasta, the chick'n cutlets, the plant-based steaks--each one bursting with flavor and seasoned to perfection. The breakfast waffle and croissant sandwiches were a revelation, and the yuca fries, mojo pork, and classic Cuban rice and beans were just as incredible. And don't even get me started on the sauces--they were so good they could've been a meal on their own! And then there's the Cuban bread. My goodness. Every bite of that bread was pure bliss, warm and soft, and so authentically Cuban that it made my heart swell. As a pregnant foodie who has traveled the nation sampling vegan spots, I can say without hesitation that A Lo Vegano has earned the top spot on my list. This isn't just a restaurant--it's an experience of culture, care, and community woven into every bite. They've managed to preserve the essence of traditional Cuban cuisine while making it accessible to plant-based diners, something that is no easy feat. For that, I am their number one fan and will proudly endorse, support, and certify every item on their menu.If you have the blessing of still having your Abuelita around, take her to A Lo Vegano for a vegan date. I can promise you she will taste the love, the tradition, and the care in every dish. This restaurant is a treasure, and I am so grateful to have experienced it. A Lo Vegano, thank you for your food, your kindness, and your incredible spirit. You made this very pregnant mama's day (and maybe even my last pre-labor meal) unforgettable. You've set the bar impossibly high, and I cannot wait to return!May blessings of the mightiest proportions be bestowed upon the A Lo Vegano Team!
