This gem of a steak and seafood place is located in the Rosen Shingle Hotel. 10 out of 10 for service and food. Everything that we had was fresh, delicious and a large portion. The octopus appetizer had a great flavor with a little spice. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and buttery smooth. The crab cake was one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is they didn't have many selections of Pinot Noir by the glass.

I came back to my favorite restaurants. This time I went with a group of friends.Compared to the first time, we were located in a more shared area. It was noisy but still good enough for conversation. We tried the scallops and the deconstructed prime rib. The scallops were amazing. However the prime rib was a little bit overcooked. Also, this time the service was not the best. She didn't bring us bread. We needed to reminder her even though we were sitting there for at least 15 minutes. She never refilled our waters either.

A Land Remembered is one of the best restaurants I've visited this past year--possibly my favorite. I almost skipped it, assuming from the name and location that it was a touristy, themed spot, but I was completely wrong. Located inside Rosen Shingle Creek, it's a cozy, upscale yet inviting restaurant. We dined during Magical Dining, where quality sometimes takes a hit, but not here. Every dish was exceptional, making me want to return at full price. My husband and I ordered the Seared Sea Scallops, Lamb Chops, Slow-Roasted Prime Ribs, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Key Lime Pie, and Bourbon Milk Chocolate Cake. The scallops were perfection--crispy outside, tender inside--with a corn purée that made for a surprising but delightful pairing. The prime rib was hearty and cooked to perfection, and the desserts were outstanding. That Key Lime Pie? Easily one of my favorites.Service was impeccable. Our server was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel so welcome. It's rare to dine somewhere where the staff seems happy you're there. My only critique is the somewhat dated interior and the casual vibe from the adjacent bar, which caters to golfers. While it slightly cheapened the atmosphere, it's far from a deal breaker. No gimmicks, no flashy attempts to go viral--just incredible food and service. A Land Remembered delivers a dining experience worth writing home about.

They have booths and tables and a bar. The tables are right up against the kitchen so someOf those tables can be loud. We got the prime rib which was super thick. The New York strip had good flavor. The lobster Mac was the best it was not too creamy like some Mac's can be.

Oh man, after a few years going back...i would have to say mac and cheese definitely does NOT hit anymore like it used it. Such a bummer. We did love the crabcakes but thats about it. Service was also super slow. Definitely will no longer return. I hyped it up so so much but everyone thought it was a let down. Super unfortunate and sad.

So I ate the food here with some colleagues and I didn't want to start snapping clicks. But these two were worth feeling embarrassed. They serve bigger up in the cute shapes! The view was superb. And the lamb chops and ahi tuna to die for! The bread is a combination of fluffy home made croissants and grain bread. Delish!!! Pricier than I was expecting ($300 for two entrees and a glass of wine) but worth every penny.

I have been coming here for years and this time it was extra special. From the moment we walked in the hostess treated us with so much warmness and it just got better and better from there with our server Jeannette. She was so sweet. She took the time to speak with us and explain their new menu. She even told us a few stories. She was wonderful. Definitely will be back to see her again. She is there every day besides Sundays and Mondays. Highly recommend you requesting her. I love the lighting in this restaurant and the vibe. Very old school romantic. Now to the food. WOW! From the bread service Croissants with the salty butter. To the chilled Oysters from FL. To the Grass Fed Lamb Chops that literally melted in your mouth! I loved the appetizer Lamb chops so much I had to try the Half Rack of Lamb entree. Completely different taste but still so flavosome. I am not a big steak person but The MBP Wagyu Ribeye was mouthwatering and super tender. The Lobster Macaroni & Cheese with Butter Poached Maine Lobster and Four-Cheese Fondue was delectable! Definitely a 5 star meal!

First and foremost, parking is a little confusing, we decided to valet which is validated at the restaurant, I'm not sure about self parking, but there was a sign which was $28. Our reservations were for 5:30 and we arrived about 10 min early, to be told we could hang out in the bar area until closer to our time, when the place was completely empty. It was as if they wanted to squeeze cocktail money out of you before you are seated. I did just that and ordered a dirty martini while we waited two minutes for our table. Unfortunately, after a few sips I realized my cup had lipstick marks on it (not mine) so that kind of grossed me out...Our server was super kind and walked us through both regular and magical dining menus. I opted for the $60 magical dining and ordered the scallops, prime rib, and the cheesecake. The scallops were very delicious and I loved the presentation. The prime rib was/ huge portion, but pretty fatty and decent flavor. I loved the cheesecake and would def recommend that. Overall A Land Remembered just wasn't my cup of tea. I think it is slightly over priced for quality and honestly there are just so many other great options in the area that it just isn't on par with.

One of the best steak restaurant we've ever been. Food are amazing, we all love the bread, soft and fresh. We ordered grilled octopus with sweet potatoes and tomatoes for our appetizers which was delightful, although the lobster bisque we ordered not so much, it could have been better. For our main meal we got the bone-in rib eye and lamp chops which are cooked perfectly the we want it, and for our dessert we got the banana caramel cheesecake - so yummy! Our server Steven is very nice and funny, he makes our dining more fun and memorable. This place is good for a date night or dinner gathering with family or friends. Will definitely come back in the future.

Orlando-What can I say other than...WOWZA!! Everything was delicious!! Our server was outstanding. The only drawback was the extremely loud and obnoxious people from a conference that took over the ENTIRE bar, outside area and tried to sit at our table before we even finished! Definitely would return, as long as there aren't any conferences going on.
