Came here about 12 years apart, and it hits home with that old timey feel. My salmon entree with potatoes, gravy, and green beans was so comforting and better than expected. Kudos to the kitchen!Kudos also to the bartender for that lemon drop martini! The pour was more volume than I was expecting, and maybe that's why it came in a tumbler and not a martini glass, LOL. The onion rings were perfectly fried, and the cornbread was buttery and sweet with a nice, soft crumb. The kids had grilled chicken and a sloppy Joe, and side options included mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Both chose a Mickey cupcake for their dessert - shocker! As this was our last dinner of our Disney vacation, I splurged on Dad's chocolate peanut butter cake for dessert, and it came with 2 hearty slices of lush cake with whipped cream on top. Service was okay. It did take longer than expected for our food to come out. After all was said and done to cover 2 adult and 2 kid dinners, our wallets were $170 lighter.

Mind your manners here! I love the way the servers interact with you. However, I wish our server came around a little more throughout our meal. The restaurant is themed to be like mom's old time kitchen. We did the fantasmic package; our meal included a drink (alcoholic or non alcoholic your choice), entree, and dessert. We tried the meatloaf and pot roast. My favorite part was dad's peanut butter layered cake! Also tried the tune in Pb&j cocktail, if you don't like baileys try something else. The baileys is too overpowering for a drink that's named Pb&j.

Nostalgic We were able to get a table of 9 in 45 min, that alone makes this place an extra star. The food was good. We tried many different courses and serving sizes are generous. The wait staff makes the experience great.

This is a very fun restaurant! I definitely recommend trying it out while in Hollywood Studios, especially if you like home style comfort foods. This time, I had the pot roast. I really liked it, but I did wish the carrots were cooked more. They were a little too crunchy for my liking. The theme of the restaurant is very fun. It's like you are transported back to the 50s. The black and white TVs are fun. The servers do a great job having fun with you, such as making the youngest "do their chores" and pass out the silverware or telling you to put your "walkie talkies" (aka phones) away at dinner. Overall, a very fun experience with good food!

I love this place! The decor is so cute and on point. Our waitress was the sweetest and checked on us often. She was very knowledgeable and let us know of the "rules" as soon as we sat down, lol! It made dining more fun! The food was amazing, very hearty. It tasted just like a meal your grandmother would make. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's visiting Hollywood studios.

Disney themed with Disney prices - so be aware. The food is decent and super comfort type choices. We had a larger party and were seated at a half-bench and half-table type seat. If you want to sit at the "kitchen laminate table" you can't have more than 5 in your party. I believe it seats 4 normally.Be aware of eating all your vegetables or keeping your elbows off the table.I ordered the Mom's Sampler which comes with meatloaf, fried chicken, pot roast, and vegetables (mashed potatoes and green beans). I also had the peanut butter and jelly milkshake which probably added more calories to my meal, but "when on vacation, calories don't count" - plus you will be walking them off at Disney! The milkshake tasted mostly of peanut butter, but I would get it again!!!Other than the prices, I would give this restaurant five stars. You can also spend some time in the Tune-Up Lounge right adjacent to the restaurant to have a drink and take some photos.

Our server was amazing. She played the role of doting older aunt perfectly, asking us about our lives and telling us fun stories. The food is good but not amazing or anything. I liked the pot pie pretty well--some of the dark meat was too chewy for me--but the grasshopper bar was kind of disappointing. The ratio was off for me.If you come here, you probably want to come for the ambience and the unique premise. Also, play along! A table in the corner were basically just ignoring the servers, and that's no fun.

Wow this place is like jumping into a time machine and taking a trip back to the 50s for real! There's 50s furniture, 50s tv shows playing on 50s TVs! The staff dresses up in 50s clothing and everything from the hallway pictures to the restrooms screams the 50s!The menu isn't large at all and we went with the Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes and corn, Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. It' was really delicious and a LOT of food! I also had a chocolate milkshake which was to die for!! Service - If you can, ask for a waiter named Caleb! He's really sarcastic, smart and super funny! He gave us some incredible advice and it was a lot of fun sharing some laughs with him! If management reads this, please give this guy a raise, a bonus, his own parking spot, whatever he wants! He was a real highlight of our visit!!Ambience - total throwback! Every inch of this place draws inspiration from or reflects the 50s! I'm not old enough to have experienced any of it but it was a very cool place to eat!

Went here while on vacation and at Hollywood Studios. Again, I am kind of skeptical of the in park, dining options, and honestly, the food was just OK. It wasn't terrible though. My vegetarian pasta was solid and it was nice to eat something somewhat healthy. Their mac & cheese was actually pretty delicious and probably my favorite thing there. It kind of reminded me of the mac & cheese I used to get growing up in school. My mom had the fried chicken, I can't say how that was because I didn't taste it. But it looked good and I think she enjoyed it. For dessert I had their chocolate peanut butter cake, à la mode. And I really don't want to give a negative review, but it tasted like a little Debbies cake, and if I was going to get it a la mode, it would've been nice if it was warmed. But I just had a cold cake and vanilla ice cream. But it was still tasty, I'll never be upset about a dessert. The service was great, the waiters were so funny how they have their jokes and they make you eat your food and treat you like you're at a relatives house. Loved it! Id give this place 3.5/5!
