'39 Poolside Bar & Grill

Honestly, I was not expecting much from a poolside bar at a hotel but this place impresses. We dropped in for brunch and did various items on the menu. Everything we tried was very good-personally I'm not a huge waffle guy but these waffles are amazing so I definitely recommend the chicken and waffles! The staff is friendly (Michael was wonderful and is an awesome asset to your team- Attentive, great suggestions, and great personality!), the prices are reasonable, and the cooks do a great job with the menu. Much more variety than I was expecting. Overall, pleasantly surprised all around!Even if you are not staying at the hotel it's worth a consideration to drop by when visiting the I-drive area and want to get away from the chains or overpriced restaurants. They have happy hour pricing on some evenings and it seems very good in both price and options for food and drink specials. They even have live music on occasion, all while enjoying the Florida weather pool side.

This is the poolside bar for Rosen plaza hotel. The space is nice but the service is very slow. And they add a default service charge of 18% to all parties. They should really hire more staff so the wait is not that long. We waited about 45 min for a salad and brunch quesadilla Salad was fantastic with mango and Avocado. The egg quesadilla was average with what appeared to be store bought salsa.

After my a long flight and finding out I had to wait for my room, I decided to get something to eat and I'm so happy I did. Located in the pool area at the Rosen Plaza Hotel is where you'll find this hidden gem. Walking in I was greeted by the bright infectious smile of my waitress Fairlight. It was so needed after the morning I had. I started off with Frozen Rosen on the Rocks and it did not disappoint. Not too sweet with the perfect amount of alcohol. The menu had a great selection but I decided to go with the fish tacos. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted better than it looked. Crispy fish topped with a light slaw that was full of flavor and creama in a nice flour tortilla. Just what I needed and the portion was perfect. I also ordered the onion rings, they were beer battered and fried perfectly. I enjoyed the food so much I went back before I headed home. If you're ever in the area it's a must try, you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the hotel and chose the poolside grill for convenience and was actually super surprised at how good it was! I admit my expectations were low, hotel restaurants are usually not exceptional but my salad was!!! I got a chicken caesar. Super fresh and great! Best I'd had out in a while! 100% recommend

Love this place whenever we stay in town. Great place to eat and drink by the pool. The staff was fantastic! We would stay at that hotel just for that!

Great place for brunch!!! Service is wonderful, friendly, attentive! Try the crab cakes, delicious! Can't say enough good things! We will be back

Although this is a poolside Bar, the drinks are excellent and the food excellent. Yesterday I had a perfectly made hamburger and today I just enjoyed the best fish and chips that I have had in a long time

best poolside food i've had anywhere in Orlando!!! the green crema was fabulous and the apps at happy hour are fabulous! the chef came out and was super sweet! servers Brooklyn and Mccall were amazing!!!!
