240 Rose Cafe

While scrolling through Instagram 240 Rose Cafe kept popping up on my feed and everything looked so delicious and inviting so I had to try it out for myself. The outside is decorated so cute and is the perfect spot to take a selfie. I walked into the cafe and had a seat at one of the tables. They also have outdoor patio seating available which is nice and since it was a little cold outside they have heaters to warm up that entire patio area. My bestie and I decided to split a couple of dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the Signature Omelette, French Toast Perfection, Side of Biscuits, and a Cappuccino. The cappuccino is really unique with the little morning drinkable image on it, it was a pleasant surprise and tasted good too. The Signature omelette was thick and generously stuffed, the breakfast potatoes were nice and crisp, and the biscuits were good just toasted a little too much for my taste. We loved the French Toast with all the fresh fruit on top and the little dollops of mascarpone were an extra delicious touch. The servers were also super friendly and attentive which made our first time visit one to remember and one to encourage us to return.

We visited 240 rose on a Sunday morning around 9:30am. We were promptly seated in their screened in patio, which is pleasantly warm. The decorations around were cute, and the setup overall is nice, but we didn't love that we had to go outside to get to the bathroom.Our waitress came to our table while one person was in the bathroom. When she realized that, she said she'd come back later. Once we were all back, she came to our table and said, "you were in the bathroom" in a way that felt . . . Almost like we were inconveniencing her? We placed our food orders, and the food came out pretty quickly, but I definitely felt a little rushed. It also took a couple tries for her to figure out what we were ordering.I got a steak and cheese omelette, which was sufficiently cheesy, but under seasoned. I also ordered home fries which were completely unseasoned, which was disappointing. My friend ordered an omelette with hash browns, and the hash browns were nearly burnt. I would've put money on them being previously frozen. Another person in my party got the corn beef hash Benedict which they felt wasn't super hash-like, but they felt the potato casserole was perhaps the bast thing on the menu. The last person in our party got biscuits and gravy, she said the biscuits were dry and there wasn't enough gravy. Overall, I was leaning 3 stars for this review, but then I got our checks, and I honestly feel like for what we paid, we should've gotten better service and better food. I wouldn't go back, especially with the other options in winter park.

We were very appreciative of the attentive service here. The lattes were adorably decorated and tasted amazing. All of our food was great. The Italian omelet had a ton of fillings and the ingredients seemed like they were fresh and of quality. The atmosphere is cute with flowers everywhere, but more of a casual deli setting. I was hoping for a little more seafood options on the menu other than smoked salmon and the pricing seemed a little high for what we got.

This is the cutest little cafe! The outdoor patio reminds me of something that would be in Fort Lauderdale Florida. The vibe is totally adorable with the pink wings in the back and all the flower decor. I got a steak chimichurri sandwich from the lunch menu which was AMAZING! My friend got the chicken sandwich which I didn't try but look yummy & my other friend got the Benedict which if I could get something else that is what I would get! Our server was really quick and helpful when it came to helping up split our checks & the food came out super quick considering we all came hungry! Def a cute spot to go with friends for brunch!

Super cute breakfast spot with an ample sized outdoor patio. There are only a few tables inside as it is mostly the coffee counter and dessert case indoors. My friend and I sat outside for brunch and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the servers were very on top of things. I did find it a little offputting that they charge extra for bread with the omelettes, that's usually an item that is included as a standard part of a breakfast meal. And the food is on the pricey side overall. We also saw that the mimosas were $13 each, which is outrageous so we just stuck with water.

We were in the mood for some breakfast and this cozy spot was just the perfect place. their coffee is probably why I go there the most, so tasty and cute. I ordered their avocado toast which always hits the spot. Perfect for a relaxed and quiet brunch with good coffee.

UPDATE: As others have said I have fallen victim to their charge tip scheme. I found out about this from a friend after I left. They messaged me saying to watch out that they are charging extra tips on the bill. I screenshot my Amex charge right away. I specially tipped cash, checking the "other" box on the receipt and writing cash on there. Behold, I checked my card and $10 charge tip was added. Bill should have been $67 and it ended up being $77. This is fraud and they should be ashamed!!

The Rose Cafe in WP is a cute little brunch spot. We loved the Roseacchino and the Dulce de Leche cake. Very light and fresh. We had the avocado toast with sunny side up eggs and it had a little spice to it. Loved! Staff very friendly and my only negative was the $4 plate split charge. ‍ Ms. Manners may disagree but I love ordering mutiple things and splitting with my date so we can sample more of the food. We did this with the toast and cake and got charged for it. ‍Not a lot of indoor seats but when the weather is nice it will be so lovely to hit the outdoor seating. I really want to try all the fruit desserts they have. We will be back. (Just won't say we are sharing)

I really love this place. A very cute cafe in a nice area. I've been here two times and can say the service is great and so is the food. Croissants are huge, nice and flakey. Pancakes are buttery and have crispy edges. Please stop by if you're in the area

Beware: Fraudulent Charges & Terrible Service at Rose CaféThis business apparently is not BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB) accredited. She was on the news btw for this and acts like she did nothing, she also blocked me on instagram Simply put, the manager, Carolina Balihaut, is unprofessional and dishonest. She took my original receipt, which was $158, and without any explanation or consent, changed it to $192.25. Despite knowing we planned to leave a cash tip, she went behind our backs and charged my card without permission. When confronted, she acknowledged the mistake but refused to do anything about it, showing no accountability. She even refused to bring out the original check that was given to us, which only further exposed her lack of integrity.This was made worse by the fact that according to their policy, a table of 6 cannot split the bill, yet we were a table of 5. It's clear this manager is either completely incompetent or deliberately inflating charges to deceive customers. On the menu there is a vague statement saying that "certain tables" will be charged gratuity. It does not say that we will go behind your back and scam you. Unfortunately, this is a common issue at this establishment, as multiple other reviews mention similar fraudulent practices.If you value transparency and fair treatment, I strongly suggest avoiding this place. Rose Café has a pattern of inflated charges, poor hospitality, and unethical practices. Not only does she do fraudulent activities, but also makes a terrible example for her employees who are not well versed in the policies. Don't make the same mistake we did--skip this place if you don't want to get ripped off. I also think it's crazy that Carolina B., the business manager, is the one that seems to be in charge of responding to customers who are victims of fraud, knowing that all these issues are approved by her. ***side note: instead of fixing the actual problem she left us candy.
