We'd checked out of our room here at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel, and rather than departing right away we decided to stay for lunch and relax by the pool for a few hours. We each wanted a sandwich and 18 Monroe Street Market, located downstairs in this hotel next to the pool area, was the perfect option. 18 Monroe Street Market offers lots of made to order hot sandwich options as well as hoagies and other foods. Beyond that, the market itself offers several kinds of snacks, chips, soups, soft drinks, beer and wine, and also things like basic toiletries and some souvenirs. This is not a typical hotel snack shop with just a few grab and go sandwich options and a couple of beer or 6 oz wine selections. Rather, it's set up like a small full-service grocery store with made to order sandwich and food options and it features Seattle's Best coffee. For lunch I had the Italian hoagie which came with a bag of chips for $15 and it was so large I ate 1/2 of it, then used a fork and knife to enjoy the contents from the other 1/2 similar to an open-faced sandwich. Staff here were all friendly and outgoing and there was plenty of seating, or one could also take their food poolside. For us and what we were looking for on this day, 18 Monroe Street perfectly fit the bill.

The salads are perfect for a quick lunch and not having to go to a sit-down restaurant. I usually would pick it up and take to the room. The prices here for drinks and snacks is a bit high, but sooo convenient. thankfully I could expense everything since I was on a business trip. If I was on a personal trip I would have likely checked out the publix that is across the street from the hotel. I would have still come here for ice cream and the salads for sure. I loved ordering some ice cream and they hanging out by the pool. It is also 24/7 so if the other restaurants are closed then you can get a pizza here for a late-night meal.

The egg and bacon croissant had too much bacon. I know, how could there be such a thing! But it was quite tasty. Service was good. Things in the store a bit overpriced, but they had everything I needed. Overall, a good place to have at a resort.

I came here for a conference and it was the most reasonably priced food here at the hotel especially for pretty good quality. The service was especially fast. The ambience was just a normal store

It was soooo nice to have this market at the resort. The prices for items weren't as crazy as I thought it would be and I think I bought stuff roughly 2-3 times during 1 evening...little items I needed whether it was gelato, snacks, tissues, cold and flu pills (lucky me). They are open 24/7! Woo hoo!!!

Wow- this store has everything! All kinds of food (hot amd cold), sundry items, snacks, every kind of chipImaginable, etc. they also had a large selection of postcards and souvenirs, I picked up some swim goggles and they were reasonable priced. Got the ham and cheese egg sandwich for breakfast one day. It was ok. It had a lot of thinly sliced ham. Got a toasted everything bagel with the salmon smear another day and that was awesome! I would get that again for sure!

So my friend and I was searching for the Haagen Dazs Ice Cream after dinner. We wanted Haagen Dazs so bad that we used the "walking" route to the address provided via GPS. Come to find out 10 Monroe Street Market was formerly the Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Shop. They still serve Haagen Dazs by the scoop(s.) This market is highly convenient. They even have microwaves to heat up guests' personal food items. Even though it would be much more convenient to have microwaves inside of e guest rooms as there are refrigerator inside of the rooms.

Stopped by to grab a quick bite. 1 large slice of pepperoni pizza. Pretty much everything you might have neglected to pack could be purchased here.

We checked into Rosen Shingle Creek late and my husband was hungry but neither of us wanted to sit down at a restaurant, so we went to the lower lobby to "18 Monroe Street Market." We were very happy to find out that the little deli/cafe remains open until midnight and the store itself is open 24 hours. The store is like a mini convenient mart with the usual things you find, plus souvenirs and emergency goods one might need.Sadly I didn't get a picture of it, but my husband ordered a sandwich called something like The Italian. It came with chips and a pickle, and I grabbed us a soda and some water and we brought it up to the room. It was hot, fresh and very delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are here and just need a hearty sandwich or pizza instead of a fancy, sit-down meal. Oh, they also have a little ice cream parlor too!

A convenient spot for food, drinks, snacks, gifts, souvenirs, and sundries that stays open until midnight. Of course, it's a small shop in a hotel, so don't expect it to be the best prices. I tried the Buffalo Wings ($12.50), Long Island, which is a Lox Bagel ($12.50), and Loaded Fries ($7.50). They weren't bad, but I'd say I liked the Long Island sandwich the most. My bagel sandwich was made right away and took maybe about 5 minutes, but I did wait what seemed like at least another 10 minutes for the fries and chicken wings, even though I was the only one waiting for food. Staff is very friendly.
