This place is awesome. I work in the area and will come here for wholesome food and authentic Greek vibes. The owner Danny is always going out of his to make everyone happy - a true Greek. I will get a lamb gyro or falafel or the salads are also really good. I hope you enjoy.

Someone in my office knows the owners of Oriste and had them cater an office lunch. I love Greek food but usually, the food at restaurants is bland and very dry. This is especially true for takeout. I was very surprised that the food from Oriste was the opposite. Kebabs, Shwarma, chicken, everything was good. I hope to visit their restaurant.

Excellent food and service for a regular restaurant, let alone a building cafeteria. Portions are huge and owners are very proud of their excellent and ever changing menu. Outdoor patio overlooks Torrey Pines Golf course and the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommend.

Great pear salad. Its healthy, fresh and delicious. Good food, esp the tatziki sauce.

Great Greek/Mediterranean food and reasonable prices. This place is a little difficult to find - it is tucked back in office buildings and there is no signage at the street - but it is worth seeking out. I took my elderly parents here after some doctor appointments at the nearby Scripps facilities, and will likely return next time we are in the area.I had the Greek Country Salad - a delicious combination of fresh tomatoes, cucumbers red onions and olives, topped with a well-balanced oil and vinegar dressing and feta cheese. I had it topped with Chicken Gyro meat. The chicken was very moist and delicious. My folks had a lamb/beef gyro and a falafel gyro, both of which were also delicious. My mother couldn't stop raving about the falafel and tzatziki sauce. She had never had them before, and she kept saying, "We're coming back here!"All food is served in take-away containers. There is plenty of seating inside, though the ambiance is much like a cafeteria. There is a nice deck outside that overlooks the golf course and the ocean beyond. It was too cold for us to sit out there, but I think that would be great on a warmer day.The owner (I didn't get his name) came out to check on us and chatted for a while. Very nice guy - seems like a real Greek.

This is my absolute favorite go-to lunch spot. The staff are very kind, friendly and efficient. The food is amazing. Anything Malia bakes with pasta is cry good. I love them. Their salads are wonderful too. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is my go to lunch. Amazing food -- authentic Greek -- and plenty of American standard fare, all prepared with family love. I highly recommend the "Signature Chicken Sandwich." It's OMG. I tried the Pastitsio on Thursday and I nearly cried it was so good. The people are very friendly. Bonus: you can take your meal outside and look at the ocean. It will become one of your regulars.
