Oooh We It Is

The food was very salty. The pot roast was tender but salty. My mom ordered baked chicken and yams with greens she didn't like the greens at all. I ordered from the one on 83rd but it came from the one western. The mac and cheese and yams were good. Pot roast and grits were tasty. They need to ease up on the salt. I don't need high blood pressure and not getting ready to start now. I have to 3 different restaurant I get a different experience from them all. The yams and mac and cheese is always on point. I wll try the pot roast again but in a different store.

The food is decent ..I didn't like the fried fish because it didn't have much seasoning or a taste to it or maybe just the breading on it was not good. I love the jerk chicken salad and they give you a lot of salad too. You definitely get your moneys worth. The tea and lemonade are good but it is very very sweet like it has a lot of sugar in it.

Omg y'all. This food is absolutely amazing. I was tempted to get the Cajun Fried Fish but the hood in me had to get those Hennesy wings! EVERYTHING was fresh, hot, seasoned well, and definitely made with soulfulness. .. I really should've ordered two meals because I ate that food so fast! I don't eat from everywhere but BAYBEE! They are getting my money again.So glad I stopped in. OOooo Weee It was so good The customer service was pleasant, the atmosphere was calm and not too crowded. I wouldn't mind eating in there.Also! They have a Cereal Bar! I don't eat cereal but I was impressed with the whole concept of food here.

Good southern food at a reasonable price. Stopped in this location one day after work and was surprised to see the sitting areas is basically self service. There are no waiters to serve you. Here's the deal, you place your order when you walk in and then you wait. We secured a table to dine in, picked up our food when our name was called and we dined in. The portion size was good, the taste is superb so I will return but probably wouldn't dine in.

When they opened up this location, I knew that I would finally be able to try this restaurant. I went on a Sunday, and It was kind of busy but not anything like the original location. They do have a few tables for you to have a seat and eat at, but majority is take out. I ordered a Pot Roast Cupcake and the Chicken Tips with Macaroni & Cheese and Dressing. The Pot Roast Cupcake was amazing and I would get it over and over again. The Chicken Tips were very salty. Macaroni & Cheese was good but could use a little salt and the Dressing was good.Overall, I would be back to try something different and to get me another Pot Roast Cupcake. The Pricing was average and the customer service was good.

Parking absolutely sucks! But once you are inside the restaurant, your mind can relax. Small, clean space with a variety of southern accents. The aromas really get you going; you would like to order a little bit of everything because it smells so good. Instead decide to focus on the dinners. Which were really good choices. By the way, portion sizes are enough to have for lunch the following day. During your wait, please listen out for your names. The servers are not that loud, and if it's crowded it will be a bit loud inside. Overall, I would return.

I was not a fan of their food. I tried the pot roast, Mac and cheese, and yams. I didn't enjoy the food at all. The pot roast was salty and didn't have a good flavor. The Mac and cheese was bland and not seasoned. Yams were ok.

They got my order wrong. I ordered $30 worth of food and the order they got wrong costed $16-17 after tax. They charged me for a $16 item and gave me a $6 item instead. ( ordered salmon rolls and they gave me soul rolls ) I waited 40 minutes for it to cook the first time around. After noticing our food was wrong, 20 minutes out, we called and they told me they can't make it till they can prove it's wrong. Not only that, it was 30 minutes before they close and they already turned off the fryer. After driving 20 minutes back, we show them and they said they will remake it. Cool. We ask if we can keep the food for the inconvenience, they said we can get a small sweet tea. $3 sweet tea to a 40 minute drive delay and 40 minute wait time AND another 10 minutes to recook it. Insane. I was so excited to try this restaurant, but honestly I'm so turned off.

I waited an HOUR just for some loaded fries!!! The women taking orders are extremely slow and careless. I kept checking on my order just for her to say a couple more mins, 25mins went by and she said "Oh" and grabbed my COLD food that had just been sitting there. I said "this food is cold" and she told me to wait another 15mins for new fries. She scrapped the toppings off of the old fries and slapped it on the new fries, my food was nasty and extremely SLOPPY!!!! I paid $22 and I'm pissed. DO NOT COME HERE! -10/10

The owner should be ashamed of herself!! This establishment have NO AIR!! The employees are sweating slaves the customers are sweating having to stand outside to breathe!! The food is delicious but this heat is the devil!!
