Located in the sketcher part of Cap Hill. This place is above QFC. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the warm ambiance and the irresistible aroma of simmering broth.I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ooink, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The menu offers a variety of ramen options, each bursting with flavor and prepared with meticulous attention to detail. Whether you're a fan of traditional tonkotsu or prefer something a bit more adventurous like their spicy miso, Ooink has something for everyone. The standout dish for me was their signature tonkotsu ramen. The broth was rich and creamy, with layers of depth that can only be achieved through hours of careful simmering. The noodles were perfectly cooked - springy and toothsome, just the way I like them. And the toppings were fresh and flavorful, from the tender slices of chashu pork to the perfectly cooked egg with its creamy yolk. What truly sets Ooink apart is their commitment to quality. You can tell that each bowl of ramen is crafted with care, using the finest ingredients and traditional techniques. The result is a dining experience that transports you straight to the bustling streets of Japan. The service at Ooink was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, happy to offer recommendations and ensure that every diner had a memorable experience. However the ordering was done by scanning the QR code and paying in advance with apple pay or a ccIn summary, if you're on the hunt for authentic ramen that will leave you craving more, look no further than Ooink. With its delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and impeccable service, it's a true hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. Highly recommended!

Ooink is a quick, casual ramen spot in Capitol Hill, located above the QFC. You can either order before you sit or you can order via QR code at your table. We ordered the kotteri ramen, which is the black garlic version, and the level 1 spicy mala ramen. We also got some gyoza as an appetizer. The ramen both come with all the toppings, which include char siu (pork belly), bamboo shoots, scallions, and half an egg. They cook the noodles well as they're just the right amount of firm and chewy. The broth is silky and not too heavy, although the addition of mala and black garlic oils do make it heavier. I liked the broth the most and the char siu the least. I didn't think it was as tender as it could've been. The gyoza was just okay in my opinion. The filling could have less filler. Overall, Ooink is a great spot when you'd like a quick bite that's open all day long, especially if you value the quality of the broth in ramen.

Ooink has been on our list to check out for a while now. We miss having access to great happened ramen, especially after moving to Seattle. Came out to Ooink Cap Hill with relatively high expectations, but the ramen fell quite short. Service was great though!- Kotteri Ramen - rich but was missing something- Shio Ramen - i love shio ramens but this wasn't that savory and was a bit milky/sweet side - even the pork.- Spicy Fried Chicken - tasted of old oil and overfried (maybe even almost-burnt) spices.

What a great find! Tried out Ooink on my last visit to seattle and it was great. I've never had szechuan japanese fusion ramen before and they go really well together. Our party of 4 came an hour or so before closing on a friday and there was no wait, but still a good number of people were there. We ordered from the QR code at the table. It is a smaller space inside with only 2 tables for parties bigger than 2 people so keep that in mind. All our food came out and we all tried each other's broth. They were all sooooooo goood. Some nice tingly spice! The noodles were cooked well, the broth was rich and the egg was a perfect boil! We all really enjoyed this fusion take on ramen and it'll definitely be on my must get list next time I'm back in town!

The ramens are fantastic! Broth is amazing. The flavor is very rich with pork bone broth and garlic. Noodle is nicely cooked. Pork is soft and nicely seasoned. Egg with running yolk is nice too. The friend chicken is also nice! It looks nice. The flavor is very rich - It was a bit greasy/salty for me personally. The staffs are very friendly and willing to serve and help you. Seats are limited - 20-30 or so? But, cycle is pretty fast. And we didn't have to wait. If you want a pork bone broth-based ramen with rich flavor, I highly recommend this place to you!

In the sea of fantastic ramen options we have in cap hill, Ooink is a hidden gem that deserves way more hype. I take all my friends here when they visit from out of town and they're always blown away by the rich umami broth. The menu is small but it's truly because they've perfected each dish and can guarantee you'll be satisfied no matter what you order. The restaurant is also small with very few tables so try to go outside of busy times. There's a parking lot above the QFC and I think the first 30 minutes are free. Street parking is difficult in this area so try to walk or take public transit if that's available to you.

More flavor than I expected! I ordered the Shanghai Style Ramen (No Pork) to go. Which is a Shoyu - Dashi broth with no pork in the broth or meat. I believe it's vegetarian and it was really good. I got some numbing chill oil/Thai peppers on the side to add (it's spicy SPICY). I'm personally not a fan of the burnt green onion topping. I added bamboo and mushrooms. I liked it most with the bamboo! It's a nice little casual place, with the aroma of brewing pork. You can see the kitchen and chefs as you order up front which is unique and can be entertaining for those that enjoy the view. I stopped by on a whim and ordered 40 mins before closing. They were still pretty busy and service did not lack, and the cashier was very friendly. FYI when visiting it is located on the roof top of the plaza. If driving up to the parking lot (it's the left corner upstairs). I suggest parking near the UPS store or near. You'll have to walk towards the elevator and pass the chicken factory all the way to the left. There were some homeless/people doing things you might want to avoid in the open near the elevator area, as well as a strong urine scent. Kind of expected for Cap Hill but just a fair warning in general. Though the location is in a kind of random spot, I had no issues whatsoever. I would definitely come back! Wish I had snapped a picture but I made the noodles disappear before I could!

It's a tiny little ramen shop with a delicious fusion twist. Upon entering, there's a small area with tables to sit at. We went straight to the register where we were warmly welcomed and were able to place our order. They have cute little shop merchandise and love their Oink artwork on the walls. The menu is also printed on the wall and they have printed menus to looks at. Food: + Cucumber salad appetizer - very refreshing, loved the sauce and flavor! + Fried chicken sandwich - also very tasty, but super filling. It feels more like a meal so if you get ramen and this sandwich, be prepared to feel stuffed. + mala ramen level 2 spicy - I really enjoyed this ramen, flavor was great and appreciated that the pork was more on the lean side. + mala kotteri level 2 - my husband got this and it had a more creamy broth base with lots more garlic flavor, he really enjoyed. Overall, it's another delicious and unique ramen spot in Seattle we would come back to! Especially if you love that mala mouth tingly spice.

Food was really good. My husband ordered the shoyu ramen and I ordered the kotteri ramen. For me the shoyu ramen had more depth in flavor that I liked. The kotteri had a mild well balanced flavor to it which is actually really nice as well as most of the ramen I tried in the greater Seattle area were a little too salty for my liking. We ordered the gyoza and the spicy ayam goreng (we didn't take a photo of it). Both were excellent! The gyoza had a very close if not the same taste of gyoza we had in Japan. The spicy ayam goreng was very flavorful as well.Service was great! The staff assisting us was very polite and kept checking in on us. We went around lunch time on a Sunday and we were the first customer but it filled up pretty quickly. After 30 mins, there was a line outside already. All in all, would definitely come back!
