++ Ambiance is that of a casual hotel bar and dining with a pleasant waterfall beyond their tall windows. Comfortable biz vibe. +. Food is casual grub. I've tried their gf burger and their buffalo wings. Both were decent and the wings were hot. I couldn't have eaten them without the ranch dressing. +. Service is hit or miss. Nadine, the manager was great! But like everywhere now days, staff are nice but some don't go beyond saying IDK. =. Price is above average but not outrageous especially for a hotel resto. =. Parking is valet Overall, Onyx is in a pleasant setting with decent quick bites.

During a recent business trip at the Grand Hyatt, I had the opportunity to dine at the Onyx Lounge, which proved to be on of the highlights of my stay. Despite encountering minor issues with my order, the response from the management was prompt and effective, ensuring everything was quickly rectified. I ventured to try a variety of dishes on the menu, including the Duck sandwich and Duck pizza, both of which came highly recommended by the bartender. To my surprise, these dishes were exceptionally delicious, even though I'm not typically a fan of duck. Additionally, I sampled the wings on two different occasions, each time opting for a different flavor, and found them to be cooked to perfection.The nightcaps at the bar were another delightful aspect of my experience at Onyx Lounge. The wine selection, suggested by the bartender, was impressive and suited my tastes perfectly. What stood out the most, however, was the customer service. The staff's attention to detail and the warmth of Southern hospitality were evident throughout my visit, exceeding my expectations and embodying the high standards of the Grand Hyatt brand. This made my dining experience at Onyx Lounge not just satisfying, but truly memorable.

We ordered 4 items to take back to our room for dinner. - Grass fed burger & fries 8/10- Cheese quesadilla 7/10- Buttermilk biscuit peach cobbler 7/10 (Biscuit was dry, but the peaches were delicious)- Four cheese flatbread 4/10 (Tasted like school cafeteria pizza)

The food was tasty and well presented. Service was excellent and attentive. The ambience was sophisticated while not being too stuffy.

Yum! Not the quickest but good nonetheless. Quiet place to eat in the hotel during a busy Sunday.

Everything here is delicious. I had the mixed green salad and blackened shrimp. Also at the table was the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. The service was excellent zip really enjoyed eating here.

Great room service. Quick and hot. Kinda pricey but it's room service, so... Reuben was bomb. Cauliflower was nice and spicy.

The Onyx is located inside the Grand Hyatt Buckhead hotel. The ambience is pleasant and the setting is visually opulent with high ceilings. The entrance is located right off the lobby and the service we received was great. I met a friend for cocktails and the drinks were flavorful and well-made. I had the lemon drop martini and my friend had a dirty martini. I definitely recommend coming here for drinks before dinner.

Enjoyed my 45th birthday cocktails and light bites at the hotel bar - Onyx. For a Thursday it was more low key than usual - COVID19 and a down pour outside. Our server, "Work" was a delight and helped us make selections and kept the drinks coming. On Saturday night, I returned for part two when the chef made a special dessert tray for me and my guests. No take out cartons, we had it served on a real platter! Strawberries, pretzels, cake balls - all dipped in chocolate!! It made my night and I'd swing by again while on the town in Buckhead.

Did not have a good experience with bartender nor the people at front door. To be working overnight and at a renowned place like this, you'd expect the staff to be a little more accommodating or have more patience. It was almost as if they didn't want my money lol.
