Zhang's Cuisine

I'm not sure why people have given this place 1 star. I was in Lincoln for a wedding, and I needed a good hot meal after my drive. I asked some local folks and everyone said to give Zhangs a try. I am glad I did. I was told ahead of time that this was more of a take out place, which was fine with me. I ordered at the restaurant, we had crab rangoons (great), fried wontons (also great), general tsos chicken, and an order of chicken lo mein. I'll start by saying that the food was great, as were the portions. We ordered and the lady that took our order gave us free egg rolls that we were not expecting. We drove back to our hotel, about a 10 minute drive, and the food was still piping hot, and the appetizers were hot and still crunchy. The chicken dish was awesome, and the lo mein was great. The place has a hole in the wall vibe, which in my opinion always has the best food. We have family in NE, and the next time we're in town, and craving Chinese, we will definitely be back. BTW we were offered free drinks while we waited for our food, nice touch.

We've been coming to this location for years. The food is great, the items are priced fairly, and the staff is amazing. Every time we come in, they practically treat our kids like theirs. That says a lot compared to the quiet quitting happening across the nation. Cannot say enough good things. Support the continued success of this business.

This has been our Togo Chinese place. Close. Good. Nice. Value. The value and good are going away, and I am so disappointed. The $9 dinner combo today was 2/3 rice and the little meal that there was has no sauce or flavor. The egg rolls are half the size. The Mongolian beef had minimal beef. The hunan chicken had no sauce. We will try again and talk to them in person but right now it's dropping from our list. Many other choices. So sad.

I'm sorry but what was this? I just paid $30 dollars for a meal of dog food. I ordered sesame chicken, and I couldn't even eat it. Every other piece I ate was a fatty gross piece. I got chicken fried rice, also horrible couldn't even eat that. The crab Rangoon is straight cream cheese. Just horrible. Do not waste your time or money on this food. Absolutely disgusting.

Just don't big quantities bad taste. kitchen looks like a health code violation paper plates for serving should have know when it was empty on a Sunday at noon

Cashew chicken tasted like it was cooked in spent oil. Disgusting. Taos chicken was not much better and both ended up in the trash.

Huge portions, great taste! Definitely an authentic place with tons of options! Would recommend

I ordered orange chicken and it was mostly breading. Very little actual chicken. Pretty disappointing. I would not come back.

Great food, great place, great service! Loved the crab Rangoon and the sweet and sour chicken! Very nice people as well!

We love their fried rice and crab Rangoon. They have great broccoli beef as well. Quick service. Definitely recommend on southwest side of Lincoln.
