As you walk up, you'd think nothing of this hidden gem. It looks like a fun ice cream shop. But, it's far more than that. Every time I come here, I know that I'm in for a real treat! Everyone is always friendly and happy to help. There's plenty of outdoor seating. I love how they have lots of trees all around. So, it gives it a warm park like feel. They have fair prices. So, everyone can get something. I love taking my family here. My favorite thing to order is a Large hot fudge malt. And, let me tell you. This malt is pure heaven! It's thick, rich, and creamy. It's happiness in a cup. So, if you want to stop by for a treat. Come here!

My family's favorite spot for ice cream in Lincoln. There is always a line, but they keep things moving pretty smoothly. A classic ice cream stand. Not a lot like this any more. I know they have non-dessert options on the menu, but we always stick with dessert.Note: they only take cash. Be prepared!A unique item on the menu is the Krunch Coat - try it! I'm not entirely sure what's in there, but it at least includes crunched up peanuts and sprinkles. Delightful on a cone!

I'd do 2.5 stars if I could. Don't get me wrong. My ice cream, and my wife's malt were excellent!But it was over 90 degrees out and took almost 15 minutes to get just those two items. And it was NOT overly busy. Just slow service. And it's priced "fine." Not a pro or con. Normal ice cream +15% for the history factor. You have to expect these kind of places to charge a little extra so it's fine.

The loose meat sandwich was better than the one I tried in Iowa. And was ready in less than a minute. Would repeat. Strawberry as a seasonal flavored ice cream (why not) with the whimsically named Krunch Kote - worth having. OK-Food's done. Now I will indulge myself in storytelling. Looking for cool things to eat on a road trip from Bakersfield CA to South Bend IN. I collect notes in my Yelp bookmarks when I hear or read or see on TV something worthwhile, in case I am ever near that place. I thank all of you who put together "Best stuff in the area" lists. I looked at dozens of them for the route and Zesto showed up on the Lincoln list. A modest little ice cream stand. Not next to the interstate, but not more than ten minutes off. Great way to see America

My favorite ice cream place in Lincoln! There are tons of choices on the menu - I get something different almost every time. Not just ice cream either! Good selection of hot food too. Fantastic prices and great service. The perfect place to spend a warm summer night!

Good ice cream at decent prices. Wish they still had the lemon velvet shake/malt from years back. It tasted like lemon ice cream from C & L's w/o having to drive as far and only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Been going there about 50 years. Greatest ice cream and malts ever. A real mom and pop organization..friendly and caring.
