Stopped in as my bike needed some immediate service only to realize that Xtreme Wheels had switched ownership. The new owner Tony was very friendly, quick to help and got my bike up and running in no time! Thanks Tony!

Absolutely the best shop to go for whatever biking needs you have. Why? Zack and his associates. Zack will go above and beyond to ensure the little details are as close to perfect as is possible. Coming from a background in sales and manufacturing I appreciate honest upfront conversations on pricing as well as product knowledge that is accurate. Zack is a shining example of both qualities. Now that the word "PRICING" is forfront in your mind please remember this when you see the beautifull bike you know you want ITS WORTH IT. I bought a beautiful fat bike from zack over a year ago and have since driven it to work almost every single day. The only regret I have is not investing more to upgrade to an electric bike but oh just you wait ;) I firmly believe I've gotten back every pennie I've spent in smiles miles and flying past everyone stuck in traffic gives me a really good feeling especially considering that I'm dodging the expense of a second vehicle's insurance maintenance blah blah.. yuck. I go out of my way passing other bike shops and even passing up ordering on Amazon just to stop into Extreme wheels to get a little insight into my next purchase from Zack because I know he wants me to get a good product and a great deal. I love to buy local and wow, I'm so glad that I bought my bike at Xtreme Wheels in Council Bluffs. I worked with Zach, who was recommended by a couple of co-workers. Zach was very patient with me and all my questions about buying a bike. I stopped by at least 3 times before I made a decision and Zach was always willing to help and I felt like there wasn't any pressure to make a purchase. The staff seems very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful despite the many customers that stopped by. I still felt like a valued customer, no matter how busy they were. I highly recommend the staff and services of Xtreme Wheels.

Great bike shop! Friendly service and great prices on bikes and bike accessories. Always very helpful with any questions and they are the best cycle mechanics in the area. Only people I trust my bikes with! This is the kind of shop that you can take that neglected bike to and have them get it ridable for you, and they won't try to replace every little thing and overcharge you...like a LOT of other bike stores in the area! (trust me, I have been down that road) Note the location is currently incorrect. They have moved to downtown Council Bluffs at 33 S. Main St.

My wife and I needed some maintenance done to our mountain bikes before we hit the road for the MoPac Trail out in Lincoln. Both of our front derailleurs were acting up, and I had a pretty bad wobble in my tear tire. Knowing that Extreme Wheels is right up the street from us, I stopped in and booked a service appt. Zach took care of me and happily broke down the cost of their services. He took my info and set up the appointment and couldn't have been friendlier. Came back later in the week to drop off our bikes the night before our appointment and Jay (Jai?) immediately inspected our bikes to see if he felt any additional service was required. What's best is we DID NOT feel like we were being upsold services we didn't need. He inspected the bikes and made a recommendation to have my rear derailleur adjusted, but his recommendation was genuine and out of his passion for cycling. They weren't pushy or "salesy" at all. The next day we picked up both of our bikes and for $42 (tax included) I had no wobble in my tire, all of my gears shifted perfectly and my wife's derailleur was as good as new. Each derailleur cost $10 to clean/adjust and truing my wheel was another $10. Money well spent and terrific, convenient service too!

When I rolled into the bike shop because I had some chain chatter and also the chain started to jump back and forth on the sprocket and still had another 15 mile to ride! I asked when they could squeeze me in? One of the fellas went back to talk to the tech and within 3 minutes the bike was on the rack. 10 minutes later I was back in the road. Very Impressive! I won't be dealing with any other bike shop in the future!

First and likely last interaction with new owner, family/employees left me very disappointed. Very displeased with the customer service I received under the new ownership. The old Xtreme wheels ownership and employees would have never treated that was. So glad there are over a dozen other bike shops around to take my business elsewhere.

So frustrated! Was told when I dropped my bike off it would be two weeks. I called yesterday to check on it and they had not started on it. Two weeks was up today and when I called he promised me it would be done by 5 PM today. I walked in at 5:20 and they still had not started servicing my bike. He offered to work on it tonight and deliver it to me however we do not live in Council Bluffs and we're going to be on the road tonight. As RAGBRAI starts Sunday I decided to take my bike with me and when he brought it out to me he opened the door, I took my bike , and he let the door shut on my bike. I understand that things happened that they got behind, but don't make a promise 24 hours prior and not follow through. He also made a definite statement by letting the door close on my bike. I hope this is a one off and just frustration from a bad week.

After Zach's repairs, my trike is humming again. You can trust Xtreme for all your cycling needs.
