I'm updating my review to reflect the improvement in service and quality of the hookah. This is my go to spot for hookah supplies and to smoke and chill. Love the authentic atmosphere... Being middle eastern, the Arabic music and relaxed atmosphere. Plus free tea is really nice. Also the restaurant next door has amazing food. Definitely worth a try

So I've been to 402 Hookah and XHale .. And while they are close to each other they are very different.XHale is less social and more private which can be a good or bad thing depending on your mood. We enjoyed their wifi, comfortable seating, music, and even a comical show playing on one of the muted TVs.We had the Orange lemon something or other, as recommended by the employee at the front.Let me just say I don't know much about Hookah but I can say the customer service was fantastic. The workers are helpful, friendly, but not overbearing. All in all it was a good experience!

This place was super fun! Extremely chill atmosphere, and everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. Tried the fruit bowl - half a cantaloupe - it was crazy! Hot tea was delicious. We stayed for a few hours enjoying the hookah and good conversation. Other patrons were very friendly as well. No one knew what the free bubbles were - so they took 10% off our check! Overall great end to the evening. We'll be back next time we are in Omaha!

Shisha is on point ... Customer Service was ehhhhI visited X-Hale with my husband last night and I must say that they serve some of the best shisha I've had. I've smoked in hookah bars from coast to coast and the hookah is sub-par to none. That being said, the service is not the greatest. This is a smaller family owned business that is lacking customer service skills. You walk in and are never greeted, you are basically left to figure out if you should be seated first or walk up to the counter and order. With this system I saw a group of about 4 or 5 hijabi girls walk-in, stand there slightly confused for a couple minutes, and then walk out. They were slow to bring out the hookah and extra charcoals - The service would have been improved if the people working there were actually - working. I would say that the hookah is slightly overpriced for a lounge in Omaha - I wouldn't mind paying these prices if it were a more lavish lounge like Lava in Indianapolis or if it was located in Miami or LA.

I've been a regular at x-hale hookah for over 3 years. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and the hookah that they serve in lounge is always made perfect and consistent every time. They also use a stainless steel mesh on top of the bowl to manage the heat and deliver a smooth long lasting session. The seatings are very comfortable, they have TVs and music playing in the background, it def provides you with perfect vibe in a traditional hookah lounge. If you get the chance to visit x-hale make sure to check out their retail floor, they have very interesting products that you won't find anywhere else in town. By far they have the largest hookah retail and accessories that you would find in town. I highly recommend this place, it's def worth checking out.

Great service, good vibes and seriously authentic hookah...best I've ever had by far! Their retail and lounge prices are extremely reasonable and they are constantly bringing in new brands/products. Recently they brought in this mesh that you put the coals on instead of putting the coals directly on the bowl and it's a total game changer. This place deserves way more than 5 stars, thanks X-hale!

Hidden in a Midtown strip mall near the dead Crossroads, X-Hale is a little out of the way. That's not a bad thing. Unlike the nearby Hookah 402, always crowded and hopping with college kids, step into X-Hale, at least on a Friday night, and the vibe is low-key and chill. There's some TVs on, showing sports news, and there's music playing (a mix of Western club hits and Middle Eastern tracks), but the volume is reasonable. No yelling to hold a conversation here. The seating could be a little more cushy, but there's plenty of it, and it's sufficiently comfortable. The space seems well-ventilated - You're not choking on everyone else's hookah fumes. I was immediately greeted when I came in the front door, and the waitress was very friendly and helpful, attentive with the coals and the refills. Tea is free, so drink up. Other than that, they serve Pepsi products, orange juice, and a few other beverages. No coffee, and, likely due to local laws, they don't serve food. You can, however, as is customary in some Midwestern states, bring in your own food, if you want to snack while you relax. The hookah was good, well-packed and pleasant, and there were lots of options (even more if you request a special blend), though I could have chosen my flavor better. While tasty, the Classic Cola simply wasn't very strong. Next time, I'll stick to Al Fakher, that's my mistake. I was also highly tempted by the elegant - and apparently tasty - melon bowl that seemed popular that night. Thirteen to fifteen dollars a hookah, with a maximum of two people per hookah, is a reasonable price, and competitive with the city's few other hookah lounges. A small collection of tobacco and some e-cigarette products are sold at the counter. Prices seemed fair, but I didn't pick anything out for myself. With tasteful decor, plenty of space, great service, and a slightly older clientele, this hookah bar comes highly recommended. It's a great place for a date, hanging out with friends, or just solo chilling. If you like your hookah experience to be more downtempo, check them out.
