This is my go-to spot whenever I'm in Lincoln, and has been for over five years. It's fast, the workers are nice, and it's a drive thru. My favorite is broccoli beef and the vegetarian egg rolls. As far as fast food Chinese goes, it's the only place that doesn't make me feel overly bloated and gross after!

After a few really bad experiences with bland poorly made Chinese food I wasn't sure I liked it anymore. Luckily I gave Wok Express a shot, I was looking for a decent drive thru on a cold rainy night . First off the food was hot, smelled fresh, and the drive thru woman was nice. We asked for home made spicy mustard because I remembered it being really good and spicy here over a decade or more ago as a teen. It's still very good and spicy, just what I was looking for. The crab Rangoon were perfectly crisp and not overly greasy and cooked in fresh oil . I can always tell when fryer oil is bad ( like at Chopsticks in Lincoln ) and here it was good. Tried the beef & broccoli and peanut butter chicken with fried rice. Everything was actually great!! A much better Chinese food experience in Lincoln for me , I usually stick to Mr Hui's 2 but didn't want to drive that far and wanted drive thru. This place did not disappoint.

My first experience with their peanut butter chicken was 15 years ago when I went to college down the street. It was life changing and I've made versions of it at home since moving away. I was traveling through and stopped in to see if it was as good as I remember (because so few things ever are) and it took me back 15 years to my happy place. Just as good as the first time! If you get the chance, stop in for the peanut butter chicken. You won't be disappointed.

Shrimp are not de veined at wok express. Absolutely disgusting. When I returned it for my money back the lady was trying to tell me they were de veined. Gave me a refund begrudgingly and did not offer any aplogy. *see photo* ... all shrimp were not cleaned just didn't want to gather them all up for the photo.

Went there on Saturday night they were not busy service was good food was not. We ordered shrimp fried rice and also an order of vegetable fried rice ,we got them home and the rice was light and fluffy which you would think was good, but m ost fried rice is heavier with more substance. Also no flavor to it just like plain rice and hardly any vegetables in the vegetable fried rice and very few shrimp in the shrimp fried rice also they were out of the hot and sour soup is what I usually order, I settled for wonton soup ,did not like the rappers on the wonton, my fiance agreed with me that we won't be going back.

I've been here many times. My favorite is Hunan chicken. I was running errands today and was starving but had recently started a diet. I pulled through Wok Express and asked if they would make steamed chicken and broccoli; which is not on the menu. They did not blink an eye at my request. They made my order with a smile. It is great to know that I have a place to go for healthy, delicious food while I am on my diet. It is also great that it is a place I frequented before my diet.

I like this place. They have a very inexpensive lunch buffet. It's only a few dishes, but they're all tasty - Mongolian Beef, Tso's Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, Hunan Shrimp with the usual suspects, egg roll, crab rangoon, fried rice, noodles, soups. It's no frills, but tasty. If you can get past the spray paint advertisements on the building, I think you'll be pleased.

The food is above average and the portion sizes are decent minus the crab rangoon, which are really tiny. They are very stingy with the vegetables in all the dishes I've ever had- Chicken fried rice, beef lo meon, etc.Not the best Chinese I've ever had but from what I've tried in Lincoln it's on the higher end. The food does come out quick.
