Wing's Repair & Towing

Literally only had to tow us 3 feet out of a ditch, charged triple what a tow across town would cost by a different company. (Had to use them because I had kids with me in the hot sun and couldn't wait)

O/O be warn. DO NOT HAVE THEM TOUCH YOUR TRUCK. Horrible Experience with this Wings repair and towing. First I was lied to by being told they could get me right in the next morning if I had my rig towed in. They insisted that they couldn't tow my truck and trailer at the same time just to charge me for two tow's. Long story short I went in there to what I thought was a bad clutch Monday. Didn't get my truck totally fixed till fallowing week Tuesday. $11K on trumped up charges. The owner is a coward not a man of his word.

This is a Mechanic Shop thats like walking into a barn full of chainsaws running straight towards you ready to kill your time and pockets! They took us in and still took two weeks to do the job. A clutch replacement! Worst place in America. Its a town conspiracy to hold you there as long so the motel can make money off you as well as the bs store. No one really ever is in town and they seem so rude and nasty. Which was not surprising considering no one wants to patronize any of their businesses. Stay away from this shop if youre a Trucker. Use one of the shops anywhere else, even if you have to tow and wait a few days. You will lose more if you dont take this warning.

I am not sure why all the poor reviews, but our service was absolutely above average. Our family was having some issues with our camper trailer right wheel. It was make a horrible sound when driving. Luckily this was discovered when we were getting fuel and noticed the truck repair shop. We called after hours and the person that answered the phone was able to calm my wife down from near hysteria lol. We left the camper there and checked into a hotel over night.We returned and they were able to get us back on the road in less than an hour. The tech was amazing and efficient. The repairs were honest and didn't cost that much. I believe total bill was $185. Totally worth it in my opinion.

yup thats why this place is rated a one star when they don't even deserve that star you can be in next parking lot at gas station next to there shop and can't handle a simple 5 min task jumping a battery. They could of made a $200 tip. lol

the lack of expertise, the issue of charging for work not done, and the poor attitude of the employees. This place horrible to deal with.

Truckers beware! The other reviews here are true! This place will absolutely pillage you for every nickel they can! Here's an example: Your tow is $650. but the after hours labor (which is just the tow) well now that's another $350. Add in some incidentals like fuel surcharge etc. and you're up to over $1k for a 14 mile tow! The required repairs were billed in a very similar fashion. They will drop the hammer on you.TOTAL HIGHWAY ROBBERY. STEER CLEAR.

I also wish I could leave no stars! This tow company was terrible to deal with when I was in an accident. They were rude to me and to the collision center that was taking receipt of my car. The collision center also said this is the highest invoice they have ever seen for a tow, so I know their prices are outrageous. They had all the information to tow my car to the collision center, but called me threatening to charge an impound fee. I called the Iowa State Patrol and shared my experience with them, recommending that they do not use this tow company for any accidents in this area.

Wish I could leave no stars. I was delivering the mail, got stuck and was told 90 minutes for the tow, but somebody would come get me until they could get me out. Had to call back after 45 minutes, then was told after I had to inquire about the time that a state trooper was stuck and he had priority, cool understandable, but to then be told that it's going to much longer because all the other stuck vehicles had priority over me as well. The lady's working there are rude, and have no communication skills. I now have a tow truck coming from council bluffs, and I'd rather wait an extra hour, then postal fleet to give them any more business. DO NOT use wings towing in avoca iowa, horrible customer service.

Would not recommend this place ,. They will rip you off , the tech did a good job how ever office and so called night management are a joke , you will be told one thing and charged another , then when you call them out on it they try to claim they wrote it wrong and then try to charge you even more . When you request to talk to higher management or owner they refuse ,. I guess to hide their con ,. Would highly recommend you stay away from this second rate shop , to bad a good tech is working for crooks ,
