Wine, Beer, and Spirits

Some friends and I popped in here before a party to stock up on a a few things, and have been back a few time since!This used to be a Toys R Us, so we affectionately now refer to this establishment as Beers R Us. It is literally a giant warehouse with every beer, wine, spirit, and mixer you could imagine! I was in hog heaven looking at all the interesting brews I had never tried (pickle beer? Yes, please!)I think it actually may have possibly BEEN a version of a warehouse, because my husband's dust allergy was going WILD while we were here. That was the only drawback, but I will just make him wait outside next time LOLThey also have a board where people can write down things they are requesting to see on the shelves, which I think is a super nice touch to try to get everyone the items they are seeking.There are wines, beers, and spirits for every budget and every taste, so definitely stop in if you are looking to stock up for a party, just grabbing something for yourself, or just to explore all they have to offer!

Love this spot for the selection and price! Staff is always very helpful as well. Highly recommend making this your go-to for all things wine/beer/spirits!

Wow! Where have I been?! An amazing package store, bar, and outdoor seating area all rolled into one. Best part, a little off the beaten path in a quieter and portion of downtown with an absolutely mind blowing variety of products that include wine, spirits, and nonalcoholic selections.The in-store bar offers customized flights of scotch, Rye, tequila, etc. On tap beers feature many local options. The folks at the establishment were super helpful and I can't wait to come back again.Metered Street parking and parking garages in the immediate area make access easy for a downtown/ Old Market location.

My friend and I'd first time visiting this place was a couple weeks ago and it blew our minds.They have an amazing selection of anything alcohol.......hard liqour, craft beer, canned mixed drinks, wine, honestly so much stuff. It's kind of funny that it's in an old Toys R Us because it is literally like a Toys R Us for alcohol.Their bar is really awesome too. They have a lot of different bottles of higher-end whiskey that you can pay $5-$50 for a small pour; stuff that you wouldn't be able to try anywhere else.We live in CB so it's kind of a drive to get there but we are definitely going back again soon!

I love this place. First, so glad they took over the old Toys R Us. They even kept some of the old signage which was kind of comical. I stopped in randomly on a Friday and didn't realize it was sample night, I wish I would have had more time!! Huge selection of just about anything you need and great prices.I did struggle a bit to understand how they had everything organized but I was in a rush so hopefully with more time I'll get it! As an added bonus I love they have a bar so you can sip a cocktail while shopping. Can't wait to go back.

A nice selection. But they play too many games with allocated products. I saw an interview where they offer them to people buying multiple items. I usually buy four to five bottles of spirits and wine when I visit but continually am told that Buffalo Trace products are not available. A cashier even went so far to tell me "it's who you know".

I mean it's in a toys r us. You have to be a fan of this. There are so many options and a few good deals. I would say I have found some new favorites on the shelf but when I am looking for regional items it is a hit or miss. There is a bar up front that is always busy and one can walk around with a drink while buying a drink. The parking lot is always full when I go but the space is huge and I never feel crowded while I shop. Check it out.

Toys R Us to now Wine, Beer, and Spirits... it seems that this place grew up with many of us Omaha natives. I love how they took this old Toys R Us store to make it an alcohol drinking adult's dream. From wines to spirits to ciders to beers to any kind of alcohol you can imagine they have a HUGE selection as well as great sales! I love coming here to browse at all of the different flavors of different liquors as well as find great sales on some of my favorite spirits. On their website it says that they have more than 5,000 items and counting!?!?!?! If you are looking for a niche/harder to find alcohol brand, if it is anywhere in Omaha it is probably here. I love how they have their sign being a giraffe (like Toys R Us had...) but with sunglasses and a wine glass. I really love this local store. I recommend coming here for anyone who drinks alcohol.

Wow! If you like distilled spirits, Wine, Beer and Spirits has a huge selection. Hundreds of brands. Reasonable prices. I'm not the first to notice this is like Toys R Us for grownups (it's in an old Toys R Us store). This store would do George Thorogood proud. It feels like an obligation to start drinking, just to be able to try a different spirit next time.I ended up with a Widow Jane Paradigm Rye that is out of this world. That would be an irony -- if the wide selection brought me there, and then I keep getting the same thing.

It's got all the booze. Not only is is a huge boozery, but it also serves at its own bar. You can shop while you imbibe. Most amusing.It's got a big lot for parking. The store's opening splits off between bar and shopping, and yes, you can come back for more from the bar.It's also sample city. Several vendors provide tastes of their goods.Shopping made more fun!
