Nice environment for those who aren't too keen on golf, or are just trying to get started, like my buddies and I. Greens run pretty true, not too many patches or dead grass. Maintenance is pretty good. Cart path could be better but that is pretty much the only thing I can flag.

As a retired military member I was excited to finally have the chance to go down to Willow Lakes to play. Given the large military presence at Offutt AFB, the host base for this course, I expected it to be well taken care of and manicured. It was really sad to see fairways in such poor shape, but the worst offense of all was that I had to pay $8 more than the civilians I played with, non of whom had served more than a couple of years in the military back in 50's/60's and never were deployed anywhere outside the US.So for me, the fact that this is just another example of broken trust to veterans, especially those who retired after 20+ years of active service, is disgraceful enough that I won't pay to play here again.

Willow lakes is a great course for everyone. From first timers, to some experienced players. It looks good, and is fun. Great driving range and chipping greens too.Pros:-Very inexpensive, have great cheap deals. -Pretty course-Fun yet challenging holes-Friendly staff-All holes close to one another, and isolated from nearby roads, businesses, etc. -easy walking course-Tournament qualityCons:-sometimes edges of greens have some damage-balls will be lost depending on skill level :)-one mean older man who works there. First and foremost, this course is run under the military. I believe they do allow civilains to play but do expect to pay more. The course is pretty standard for the Omaha area. The course is not too challenging and alot of holes allow room for error. The staff that works at the clubhouse are friendly and enjoy their jobs. They have a small driving range but its on mats, which I personally do not like using. They recently upgraded their golf carts. They are still gas powered but not have a nice GPS display. It's the little things that count.
