Wild Rose Casino and Resort

I can't be too upset because I did win a couple hundred bucks here which offset the shitty service we got at the hotel... So much so that we left a day early. So I guess that makes us even being that we paid a couple hundred bucks for a Hotel room we didn't use. The bartenders at the casino are busy talking to each other and there's not much interest in taking care of the customers that are paying money there. It was just OK ---nowhere that I would rush to go back to.The reason I gave it three stars is because of Patty in the back. She's at the customer service desk so I guess she knows about customer service. She set up our Player Cards and was the bright light in this otherwise dim episode. Shout out to her!

I'm Hispanic and experienced absolutely no issues here. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Did I mention they give you free money to gamble with? It was a great time, I will definitely return.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Worst casino experience I've ever dealt with, their employees show no respect for the customers. I'm not a scorned player as I gamble across the country frequently and I'm ok with losing. When I ask politely to change the channel for the TV above the table the Pit Boss rudely said No! They're Security Guards have frequent rude sarcastic comments and scowl at you if you're winning! I will never come back to this or any of their other establishments even if they paid me to play.

Chili teriyaki bone-in wings were hot, crispy and good. The fish and chips were sadly frozen breaded from a bag fish but the fries were hot and crispy. The cheese pizza came our undercooked and cold. The second one was cooked and hot, but flavorless. Frozen dough. In the end I can only recommend the wings. The restaurant has a sign saying J's Place but on the weekend it's Coaches Corner. You do not have to walk through casino. It's in a bar/restaurant down the main hall. We were seated right away and our order was taken right away. This was at noon right when they opened. I would not come here again.

My friend and I visited from Des Moines and we were there for 3-5 minutes when my buddy realized he left his player's club card in my car. He went out to get it and on the way in, security would not let him in because he appeared intoxicated. He doesn't drink or use drugs if any kind. I talked to a manager and he said that once a decision is made, there is no changing it. We actually called the Jefferson police department and asked to come do a breathalyzer and sobriety test. The officer came but said they have the right to refuse anybody.They say their employees are specifically trained for such problems. Really? How does a person with over 10 years sobriety get refused due to intoxication? Very disappointing. Oh well, we like to spend money and Prairie Meadows is happy to have our business. This has to be the worst casino I've ever been to. Out of the 100 times I've been there I have maybe won five times. Recently the past twenty times they have taken a thousand dollars with so sign of life in my humble opinions go to a different casino that isn't as tight.I will not be returning here ever.I never wanted or had a reason to leave a review for any establishment I've been to but this place is pathetic

ATM...THAT THEY FILL, took my money. They played around for over 2 hours with the ATM, getting a manager, giving me a number to call that was for employees only, and saying they couldn't do anything for me. After I called the number on the machine the employees turned it off so the ATM company was no longer able to help. The manager walked past us, no introduction or offer of apology, doing the same the rest had done for the last hour and a half. No offer of compensation with food, beverage, or even a sincere apology. DISGUSTING MANAGEMENT!!

Severely racist to my Hispanic friends when visited. Continuously asked to only see their IDs multiple times and eventually kicked one of them out after one finally refused to show their ID for the 3rd/4th time. Disgusting. Hope your employees realize how disrespectful and gross they are.

My husband and I took a few days away on a trip and we visited the casino. It was large and spacious. However, it lacked energy and fun, also there is no food available on site. Nobody was winning anything so after two hours, our money was gone and we left. It's always fun when you win a little bit at a casino because it makes you want to stay longer. I'd recommend some activities to draw more people in, maybe motivate the staff to be a little more exciting and fun and interactive, I put a little food cart where you can buy a pretzel or a hotdog, add a fun and excitement , no matter what day or time. First impressions go along way.

Fucking closed. I checked the web site of the hotel so I could have a restaurant on site. They still say open. Get your shit together and keep the web site UP to date.
