I decided to dip my toes in the Botox waters and Whitten offered a nice deal via Groupon. When I arrived photos were taken of my face relaxed and smiling, then Dr. Whitten reviewed the lines and drew out exactly where she would want to inject and how much. I had purchased 20 units and I was able to get my forehead treated with that amount. They did recommend some additional units around my eyes, but being that I am a newbie and was overly paranoid about looking like Janice Dickinson, I declined. There was no pressure at all when I declined. Overall, I am very happy with the results! I knock them one star because when I arrived there were 2 staff without masks, which I found odd for a dental office. When I inquired about this, the woman who was helping me did end up putting on a mask.

Central location (just off Dodge, North of Westroads) ~ Beautiful facilities ~ Plenty of Parking ~ Friendly staff I've had multiple peel and microdermabrasion treatments with Jill. Reception is always welcoming & you can select from a variety of beverages options in the waiting room, although I seldom have had to wait long if at all.If interested, they offer a lot of options beyond dentistry - from skin care (in addition to treatments, various products to choose from) to enhancement options (Ex. lips, lashes, etc)

I decided to treat myself to a Groupon for 40 units of Botox 2 weeks ago at Whitten Dentistry. I've had botox one time at another clinic. They did a great job, and 20 units was all I needed to freeze my frown lines between my eyebrows. 40 units is more than I've ever had, but I figured I could take care of my frown lines and use the extra for any other forehead lines. When I went in, I emphasized that my priority was the frown lines, and that they could do whatever they recommended with the remaining units. Dr. Whitten did the injections, and when she was finished she said "just call and let us know if there's any movement in a few days." I didn't recognize this as a red flag at the time, but two weeks later I still have full movement between my eyebrows. It's as if they injected water into my forehead. So I called and let them know, and they had me come in. They hygienist (who was NOT wearing a mask) told me I needed 12 additional units, and that I would have to pay for them. An extra $144 for a total of 52 units just in my forehead... I'm only 28 years old! I expressed my disappointment and she said she would have the dentist come talk to me. 20 minutes passed as I was waiting for the dentist, so finally I walked out of the room and found her standing in a doorway whispering to a colleague pointing towards my room! She was literally HIDING from me! So unprofessional. When I finally got her attention, she told me that "every one responds to botox differently" and "every practitioner injects differently." I told her that I had no problems with ineffective botox in the past, and that my 60 year old mother has never had more than 40 units of botox in her forehead, and has never had a problem. She shrugged her shoulders and told me I should go back to my preferred provider. Unreal. Dr. Whitten was also not wearing a mask... the dentist and owner of the dental office. I'm pretty sure this medical office is not exempt from the mask mandate that has been extended to May 25th? Please avoid this office at all costs. This was a huge waste of time and money. Either Dr. Whitten has no idea what she's doing, or she knows exactly what she's doing-- scamming people into paying more.

This office has a serious issue with following the law. I have unsubscribed multiple times from their emails. I still get them. I have emailed them directly. I still get them. I have reported them to the FTC. I still get them.Today, I did get an acknowledgement back that I have contacted them multiple times to be removed. They claim they have removed all my information from their system after my last complaint. Evidently, they did not remove me from their email list. All I want is for this business to follow the LAW and unsubscribe me. That evidently is too much to ask.

I went to Whitten Dentistry because I bought myself 20 units of Botox. I had myself, a relative, and my best friend each buy botox from Whitten through Groupon. At first I was impressed by the Dr. Whitten's knowledge and the high end facility. But it quickly became apparent that she was looking to make money off of me and waste my time. All 3 of us had minimal results from the Botox, but Dr. Whitten told us to wait up to 14 days before seeing results. Based on what minimal results we all saw, it would seem logical to assume she used either expired or diluted Botox. I have been doing Botox for 5 years (and have never had to have more than 20 units.) Dr. Whitten suggested I buy additional units, which I did because she should be the expert, she said the results would take about 14 days, so I waited patiently for my expected results.Because I was so impressed by the time and treatment received while there, I impulsively decided to make Dr. Whitten my dentist as well. I went in for a 2 hour cleaning, where they took multiple photos of my mouth in a variety of angles. Dr. Whitten came in for the final 10 minutes or so, said she would look over my X-rays, and would schedule me for a follow up appointment to go over my results. I went back a week or two later for a consultation. I waited in the waiting room for about 15-20 minutes, to be taken back into the exam room where a hygienist came in to talk to me, without a mask. She pulled up my X-rays and showed a filling that needed to be refilled, and a "pre-cavity". She then suggested I get Invisalign. Which, I would be interested in except for my teeth are from an aesthetic stand point great, and didn't really explain why I would need Invisalign except to say it would fix my bite, not saying what was wrong with my bite, making sure to explain they offer financial assistance. She then asked if I had anxiety while having dental procedures, and then tried to push me into paying for a sedative or "Laughing gas" which would be an additional charge and a longer appointment. (Mind you, I had to take time off of work for this consultation, where I anticipated having my "pre cavity" filled, only to find out, that I had taken time off of work to be sold to! As a person in sales I can understand and respect this, but I cannot understand wasting someone's time and having them drive to a location for a used cars pitch to be drugged for a cavity.) Dr. Whitten did not come to the consultation, so I was given limited information. In addition to wasting my time, I had to fill out forms for my appointment 9 times for one appointment, 14 times for the consultation, and 7 times for the actual appointment. This is either spam or some sort of scam, can't make heads or tails of it. My first issue was the botox, but I made an appointment for dentistry where the botox was not addressed. The results of the botox were minimal if visible at all, and have completely worn off. I called to see if I could have Dr. Whitten fix this ineffective botox, was told I would need another consultation, and would be advised on how much more botox to buy. I feel taken advantage of, and frankly violated. Dr. Whitten seems like a competent dentist, but I ruthless salesperson. Be wary.

I went here for Botox and that was a humongous mistake. I supposedly got way more units than I've ever had before but got like half of the results. When I expressed my concern the dentist/doctor? Was very rude. My advice is to save your money and go somewhere with where you will actually get results and be treated kindly.

Whitten Dentistry is far more than just a dentistry. The staff make you feel like family. I've never been so excited to go to the dentist until I started going here. The staff is beyond personable. It's amazing how much they go out of your way to make you feel welcomed!

Alright, so I'm a patient here, and I never dread coming to the dentist...Kim, my DH, is amazing! If you were a patient at Braasch Family Dentistry, you know Kim... Expedient, thorough, and just plain awesome, I know I'm being taken care of the instant I walk through the doors. This facility is top notch, and you feel good whether you're coming or going.I really can't say enough about Dr. Whitten and staff!!! I was first directed to take a closer look at my thyroid here. I was taken extra special care of during my very first pregnancy - since my little guy sucked all my vitamins and nutrients from me. It was Kim who first suspected my condition even before I knew anything! Just based on a regularly scheduled cleaning! All throughout my pregnancy - and even now - my care and treatment has been excellent. If you're in the market for a new dental experience, you really need to give this place a shot. You owe it to yourself (and your smile) to make an appointment at Whitten Dentistry!
