We have been to Brownville several times and never took the time to stop until today. My wife likes wine and I'm not a big fan, but I have kind of changed my mind! The ambience of this old barn really makes it a great experience and the wine is very very good. They have seating inside plus a huge deck that has a water feature nearby. This is a great little place to spend a fall afternoon. The gentleman serving the wine was really helpful and patient with us.

Make sure not to miss this delightful stop on the Southeastern Nebraska Wine Trail. The owner is exceptionally knowledgeable. Each and every wine is refreshingly unique and rich in flavor. The quaint location is the cherry on top of this entrancing, historic establishment.

When traveling to Nebraska, we were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. Tucked away at the end of main street in Brownsville holds the greatest journey ones palette has ever encountered. Whiskey run creek is home to wines that are bold, yet subtle, simultaneously. All of the wines I had consumed were exquisite, to say the least. The owner treated us with hospitality that would be expected of an older southern bred woman.

Great atmosphere! Perfect place for conversation. The host was gracious! There's a great variety of whites and reds, dry and sweet. Something for everyone.

Enjoyed sampling their wines. Many are sweet dessert type wines. We sampled 5 and settled on one glass each to enjoy on the porch out front. Cute little place to visit when passing through town.

In a way, I hate to give this place only 3 stars, because if you are in Brownville, you should really stop by for a visit. The little shop is quaint and has a number of interesting wine-related goods, and the proprietor is friendly and knowledgeable. All that being said, the wines were barely drinkable, and in the end, that's what a winery is all about.

Just passing through and found this great winery to visit. Clean with beautiful views and a nice patio to enjoy your wine. The owner was friendly. Overall, pleasant experience and recommended for that unplanned road trip.

We were really impressed with wine and the outdoor seating. The ambiance from the water feature visible from the outdoor seating deck is relaxing. We were just passing through the area while staying in nearby Nebraska City. Totally worth stopping in. I would say this small winery is one of Nebraska's most hidden gems.

What a wonderful experience! I am sorry I did not get the bartender's name, he needs recognition! He normally is not there because he is one of the salesmen (thin guy with red hair and short beard) and is usually out selling this delicious wine. He was so knowledgeable and was patient with all the questions my mom and I had for him. He carried our box of wines to the car and walked slow so mom could keep up. Truly a kind person who made our experience one to remember!

We visited this winery on a spur of the moment road trip and really enjoyed it! We loved the variety of wines offered. Lots to choose from! Enjoyed visiting with the owner and learning about the grapes, vineyards and processes! Will definitely visit again because we need to buy the vodka! (Too little room in the car after the two cases)!
