Michelle at the bar was great. We enjoyed our Porterhouse. MmmmmWe've stopped here a few times as Kearny Nebraska is our pit stop when traveling to Iowa . It's nice to look forward to a decent meal in friendly setting after a LONG DRIVE .

I like the smokin pig sandwich with bacon, sausage, pukled pork, jalapeno and cheese. The flavor is yummy. They should make the bacon crispy to add crunch and make it spicy to have a littke kick. I did not taste the spice at all. The mac n cheese is kinda salty per my daughter. My hubby got the steak and it was just OK. The service is good and the place looks nice and clean. Oh they have free peanuts in every table!!

Drinks- we ordered the old fashioned and LIT. The d fashion is what you would expect of an old fashion however it's pricey. The LIT was very good and I'd order it again. Appetizers- ordered the combo plate - it was burnt to no end. Very bitter tasting. The tenders where the only thing worth eating unfortunately. Mains- hoss - the hoss was nothing extravagant- literally a plain unseasoned patty cheeseburger, so wouldn't get again. The smoking pig was very good surprisingly- the sandwich wasn't sloppy to eat, the meats complemented and didn't over power each other. Just the right amount of sauce. Husband is a smoker competitor and he liked it ! Waitress was very nice ! OVER PRICED IS THE CONCERN HERE !

We were in Kearney for a wedding and came in the night before so decided to grab a meal at Whiskey Creek.Menus and a cup of peanuts in the shell were provided when we were seated. Unlike past visits where customers were encouraged to throw shells on the floor, a basket was provided for the shells. The mom in me likes the basket better.My husband ordered the sirloin steak with salad and baked potato. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp kabob with rice and a salad. Both of our dinners were good but not jaw dropping good. No complaints.......just ok.Our server was awesome and made our visit a good one. The place was packed on this Friday night but our server did not rush us through.Parking was full and spilled over behind the restaurant. It had rained so it was a little messy but manageable.Not our first time at Whiskey Creek, probably not our last.

We have stopped their coming and going. Food has always been good. But folks your mens rest room was pretty bad with urine small everywhere. Got out the ammonia and hot water and scrub the walls and the floor. 409 won't get rid of the smell. The walls and around the entry door doesn't look like they have been touched in months. Take that carpet in front of the mens urnal and replace it or get rid of it. Don't let the rest rooms draw the place down. We come by and eat often.

We are traveling through and stopped here to eat. I can't remember our servers name but I do remember we sat at table 71. She was WONDERFUL!! A+++++ for her. The food was absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best steaks I've had. Not to mention the balsamic vinaigrette you can literally drink! Highly recommend this restaurant. All around great experience.

Sure has been a few years since we last here. Having a varied selection of food and drinks. Was all pretty good. I had a medium size smoked prime rib. Barely a half inch thick, and that was thickest parts. French fries were really good and appeared hand cut, the real deal. Our French Dip was good and nice portion. Baked beans were good. Bread and cinnamon/sugar butter was pretty good. Have not had that butter mix prior. Was good experience overall here.

Ordered a filet mingon and received a poor quality cut and poorly seasoned. I also ordered a baked potato with butter and bacon bits and only received butter. I am disappointed as this location has been a go-to place for myself and family.

Food and service were both really good. We were traveling home from long road trip and picked this place out of the blue.

Stopped in here mid afternoon while traveling across Nebraska. I always look for non-chain local mom and pop type places while in the road. It was great. The food was great and the service was fast. But the best thing was the bread... oh my goodness... it was like a sourdough and rye mix with awesome cinnamon butter... so good! Do yourself a favor and stop here. It's great.
