There are new owners and this place has a lot of potential. FYI...They are not currently offering breakfast. There is a lot of cleanup needed on the grounds so when you drive up, it doesn't make a good first impression. However the rooms are quaint and clean. We stayed in a spacious suite with a kitchenette which was nice. We look forward to visiting again in the future once they've had time to make improvements.

Absolutely delightful place to stay. Our room was large and clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and since my husband is a picky eater, Jim was willing to modify his breakfast for him. I highly recommend.

Our visit to Westview was very enjoyable. We've stayed at many B&B's and this ranks near the top! Our hosts were hospitable and helpful. The Prairie Nook was comfortable - the bed, linens, robes and all the rest! We had anything we could imagine to snack on and drink. Our breakfast was delicious and the presentation (egg dish served in a red pepper half!) was amazing. We enjoyed a couple movies from their extensive library. The space was welcoming and we felt very much at home. The thick walls made for a quiet stay and all the rooms were booked. We will be visiting this gem again!

Another great stay at Westview Bed and Breakfast! I've now stayed here three times and each stay was just as good as the last. Immediately upon arrival, we are always greeted by the friendly owner. He's available by cell the whole time you're there, which is nice. He also checks immediately to see if there are any allergies for breakfast the next morning. One thing I love about this place is how secluded it feels, yet it is super easy to get to from I-80. The last two times we stayed it was cold outside so we didn't get to see what they had to offer outside. This time, I really took advantage of the big lawn in front, which was great for our dog. There is also a really nice patio area in the front. Finally, although we did not personally take advantage of it, I noticed they also have a bbq area. The breakfast continues to be delicious. There's a side of fresh fruit with cinnamon and whipped cream. You also get fresh orange juice along with this really delicious breakfast dish that comes with eggs, bacon, and asparagus. I look forward to it every time we come. I really think it is a lot of bang for your buck in terms of the quality of the room. I've been to several bed and breakfasts and this continues to be the best value. The bed is comfy and I love the huge spa tub in the bathroom. You're able to watch Netflix (and Hulu I believe). They also have free wifi and a ton of movies to choose from in their DVD library. Finally, there are a ton of snacks in the room, including popcorn, ice cream, m&ms, bottled water, bottled juice, and soda. We discovered the best part of this place this past weekend....you can bring your pet! I believe it depends on the room, and you have to call ahead. We brought our Shih Tzu this past stay and had such a great time (and there wasn't even a fee for the pet). Such a nice touch! If you're looking for a romantic getaway, look no further (especially if you want to bring Fido)! I definitely can't wait to return.

I've traveled on both coasts and across the country. This is one of the best places to stay in the United States.Breakfast was a waffle smothered in fresh fruit, followed by a peppery homemade omelet with peppers, asparagus, and bacon. The rooms are sumptuous, and the price point is just insane. Rain showers. Whirlpool tubs. Cozy furnishings. Huge, immaculate bed. Endless free drinks and snacks. Lots of other amenities (e.g. DVD player, flatscreen, complete kitchenette, etc). Nice and relaxed managers. Totally casual check-in/check out. Fast, no-hassle WiFi.It is worth going out of your way to stay in Lincoln, Nebraska -- a place you might not normally visit for any reason -- just to stay here.

My wife and I truly enjoyed spending our 23rd wedding anniversary at this B and B. The whole atmosphere, as soon as you enter is very comforting and inviting. Our room, the Wild Rose was larger than we expected. It was loaded with all manner of snacks and drinks. The staff were very friendly and made us some very tasty breakfasts. It is just far enough outside of Lincoln, Ne to get some quiet time but close enough to get to any event without any hassles. I would recommend this business to all. You will enjoy the experience.

I found this bed and breakfast as I was booking my lodging for the first of a ten week project in Lincoln and think I have stumbled on a little piece of heaven! The rooms are enchanting and immaculate, every convenience one could dream up, quiet and peaceful, my room had a parlor area that was perfect for me to work at, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, I arrived to find the refrigerator fully stocked with an array of beverages including fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, marmalade, butter, Drumsticks ice cream in the freezer, when I was asked about attending breakfast I explained I would be out each day before breakfast and when I returned more items had been added to my refrigerator and freezer to accommodate the breakfast meal. The tubs are huge and jetted, the tile is beautiful, the bed is very comfy, the whole experience was the best I have ever had in a B&B. The owners Colli and Jim were absolutely delightful people intent on making your stay the best stay possible and Teresa is an absolute gem! Each day she serves a gourmet breakfast and each afternoon has fresh baked fruit filled sconces and other delightful treats for the guests. As long as I can find a room here at Westview, I will never return to mundane, substandard hotel living, I feel like I'm visiting family here and would highly recommend it to anyone who desires a get away or needs a refreshing lift after long days of business travel : )

Great place to stay! Our room was huge. It had a full kitchen, fireplace and whirlpool. The owner checked several times to see if we needed anything and asked if we had suggestions for improvements. The staff was very friendly. The breakfasts delivered to our room, were very good. We definitely will stay again.

DON'T miss out on this quaint, cozy, rustic hidden gem in Lincoln, Nebraska. We stayed in the Oak Creek Suite. It is dog friendly and the king sized bed is heavenly! Once you get into bed, you won't want to leave. This suite also boasts a large Jacuzzi bath tub, a mini fridge, microwave, and TV. The common areas have movies, chess, and a piano. Inside there are 2 different outdoor balconies. In the front of the property, there is a gazebo and LOTS of grass and outdoor space for dogs. The best part about Westview is the breakfast! Jim delivered my breakfast and was so sweet! The breakfast was filled with fresh vegetables, bacon, cheese, and egg on whole grain toast, not to mention the OJ and peaches and cream- SO DELICIOUS!! LOVE this place and will return for sure on our next road trip!

I'm really sad to have to give this place two stars, the people who worked here seemed so nice when we got a reservation. I just proposed to my fiancé and this spot was going to be a special highlight on our celebration trip. We're poor college kids, we decided to spend a giant portion of our budget to stay at this place, my fiancé insisted I should feel like a princess for a day and night. He woke me up early to put on a nice robe, made me coffee, and sit at the table to wait for our breakfast, so we waited...and waited. Because we are gen Z kids we really didn't want to be demanding, so we waited nearly two hours before calling the staff, to no answer. Finally we got ahold of someone, and he just said we were forgotten, he could give us twenty bucks and send us on our way, or we could wait another hour and a half. We had to leave, so I left feeling really forgotten. I know this might sound like nothing to people, I really don't want to sound spoiled. Since we blew so much of our budget on it we didn't end up eating much that day. It sucks to feel special for a minute and then just feel embarrassed. I never have left a bad review in my life, I spin things to be positive all the time, I'm known for it. So yeah, you should still stay here, the rooms are nice and the tub is great, I just hope this gets the attention of the people who run this spot so that others don't feel as bad as I do right now.
