THE OWNER IS CRAZY RUDE!!! I have never experienced such RUDENESS as I did today with the owner of Western Bowl. I told him I call in yearly from out of state to purchase a gift card for my brother n law for his bday and that he is on a league Monday nights and the managers in the last 5-6 years have always helped me get the gift card over the phone and my brother n law would pick up on his league night...well whatever this owners name is says to me RUDELY I don't do that and it's not my policy and for me to quit calling here and then HANGS UP ON ME.. I call back and say why did you hang up on me and he continues to yell at me over the phone when all I'm simply asking is why do you need to be so rude when I simply was calling like I have every other year and instead of having good customer service skills he chose to show his ugly EVIL side of him and should NOT EVEN OWN A BUSINESS. I feel bad for whoever has to work for him. SO Mr so called "owner" my advice to you is to get some counseling and learn how how to treat others. You are sooo damn rude!!!!!

Bowling balls were round. Front desk man was indeed an employee. Strikes and spares all around. Hope was found, dreams were crushed. No complaints other than the establishment is actually not very "western".

Western Bowl is your average bowling alley with all the normal aspects you would expect.Customer service was good, but, not overly friendly. Lanes were clean.Food was okay.Drinks were overpriced.All of the above is on par with every bowling alley we have been to and met the expectations we had walking in.Happy fun times Yelpers!

Front desk worker was extremely rude. We had called earlier and were told with an automated voice message that lanes were available, and he said no they didn't without greeting us at all in an extremely inappropriate tone. Never coming back again.

The bowling is all fine and normal, but the people working the front desk are always so incredibly rude and mean that it ruins the fun. We have been coming once a year for a family event, and I have started to dread it. It's unfortunate, because otherwise it's a basic bowling alley in a good location. Nothing fancy, and a little beat up, but that would be fine if it wasn't for the horrible owners/managers. They do things like eye-rolling and sighing for no reason, yelling at people that they can't bring in a water bottle, angrily telling people which tables they can sit at, and being irritated with kids why need to exchange shoe sizes. They act like people coming to bowl is such a nuisance and are very sad unhappy people.

I am normally not a person that posts on yelp. But this was so dumb that I HAD to write about it lol. It looks like my review in on par with the the last few as well. Here we go; Terrible customer service and sharing of information. We have called three separate times to reserve a lane within the 10am -5pm hours listed on the website. Each time, the response is "not today we have the league playing" and "not today because we have a tournament." THEN UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE! That's what it's for! When I asked what date the tournament ends to start their regular days again the response was "9pm". That's not a date. That's a time. when I said "okay..." to start asking another way, since he clearly didn't understand the initial question, THE GUY HUNG UP ON ME. I'm not the only person on here mentioning how rude this person is. From what I can gather from all the other 1-star reviews, this person is the owner. Get it together man; Sure... you are probably depressed that you operate a shitty run-down bowling alley, but taking it out on your patrons is just pathetic. Get help. I am actually glad I haven't spend a dime here. On to other places :)

Whoever is working there around 5:30pm on 2/8/23 must not enjoy their life very much. It's probably because their occupation is working the desk phone of a bowling alley, so I can't blame them. Called to reserve lanes as I've never been there before and the angry, mid 40s man simply said "no" and hung up. So as anyone most likely would, I called back and stated that he had just hung up on me and I wasn't sure why the call ended right then and there. With an agitated tone, he said that they don't take reservations and it's first come first serve. I acknowledged, and then questioned if that warranted him to not explain that to me the first time I called instead of telling me no and hanging up? He then proceeded to say nothing back to me which led ME, to then, hang up. I guess I'll be meeting my new best friend this Saturday night when I come to bowl and I'll make sure to say some words there that I probably shouldn't say on this review
