Started coming to West Omaha fire therapy in 2021 after discovering them on Groupon. Figured why not give it a shot. Have to say I have been thrilled with the experience. Not a fan of the sauna, but absolutely love the cryotherapy, red light therapy, and hyperbaric chamberThe staff is amazing (Janet, you rock!) and the owner Matt is extremely personable and customer focused. If you haven't already, check them out. You will probably get hooked.

This place is great! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and will work to get you scheduled for a service. The facilities are current, clean and well maintained. The variety of offerings covers what you'd need - heat, cold, pressure, light therapy, etc. I'm all in on the infrared saunas! A regular customer and will continue to be!!!

Yes, the chamber is extremely cold, but you can handle it. It only lasts for 3 minutes, but if it gets to be too much you can stop at any time. So far, I've had two sessions and it seems to be working. I have more energy and the quality of my sleep has improved. It's a very clean facility- something I always look for- cleanliness. The owner and staff are great. They'll talk you though everything. They take walk-ins, but I prefer making an appointment. You can very easily get in and out in about 15 minutes. There's plenty of parking too. I wish they would open a little earlier than 10. I'm going to try to come at least once a month, or possibly more often if I have the money. And an NB to all...it's not some kind of placebo effect. There is science behind it. Trust me, I'd prefer not to have to get damn cold for 3 minutes. :)

FIRST IMPRESSION : Coming in I had noooo idea what I was walking into. For all I knew I was going to do something a little "out of the norm," but nothing major. Walking in I was completely oblivious. Ignorant to what the heck I was about to do. Because I am very affected by the atmosphere, the minute I walked in I was trusting. The place was spotless, smelled like essential oils and peaceful things, and was warm and inviting. It felt as if I stepped right into a friends living room... yes, that cozy. The woman at the front desk was SO KIND. She was absolutely inviting and supportive throughout the entire experience. Not once did I feel awkward / uncomfortable / confused / nervous because she was simply THAT good at what she does. She knew everything about everything and I didn't have to fear a single minute. EXPERIENCE :Alright.. I should've caught on when I saw what looked like smoke coming out of the top of the machine that this wasn't going to be a mental or physical "breeze." As I fearlessly took my robe off after stepping inside to a bit of a chilly machine, I had no idea what it would actually feel like being in -225 degree temperatures for 3 minutes. Thankfully, I had the lovely lady at the front desk being attentive to me if I needed it a few degrees warmer, and talking to me continuously throughout the whole 3 minutes. I'm so glad she was there otherwise I would've tapped out. Let's face the obvious, it was cold. No ...BoneChillingCold. What do you expect -225 degrees to feel like other than your bones turning into glass and freaking the f*** out. Mid way through I wanted to run out of that place nude and unashamed, but decided I'd tough it out and not quit (which I'm glad for). After it was all said and done, I stepped out trying to get my mind fixed on a warm fireplace and the very present excitement that I was still alive. Now, that's just being honest, but here's the after math. AFTER THOUGHT : I feel elated. My muscles feel better than they ever have, as if someone handed me a new set of bones to switch for my old groggy worn ones and a new shot of energy infused into my muscles. I work out, hard. 6 day's a week I am pushing my body to its max (hence, a pulled groin.. great, perfect for cryotherapy though). With that being said - I rarely feel a release and a feeling of replenishment like I did walking out. I wasn't mentally prepared, BUT I was happy I did it. I truly can feel a quick difference of how it rejuvenated me and a very sobering reality of how bad I needed it. Thank you west O cryotherapy for helping me in ways I didn't know I needed. To your lovely staff and incredible vision, I am so very for you. Try it out, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

So far I've tried two services... By far my favorite was the leg compression therapy! I have severe restless leg syndrome and very rarely do I get a full nights sleep. The day I did this compression therapy I slept so peacefully... And my legs did not hurt when I woke up the next morning. Whoooo! Can't wait to go back!

Very friendly staff, very nice place. The cryotherapy was invigorating. They also offer infrared sauna and compression treatments. I would be interested in going back. They said we could share time in the sauna my wife and I. Definitely a good place for wellness.
