Wavecrest Park

This park is hidden in Carter Lake, Iowa and can be reached by heading to Shoreline Drive. The park hours are from 5 am to 10 pm. Parkimg is very limited and is checked during the summer months. Swimming is allowed here as well as fishing, and grilling with several picnic tables available. Public restrooms are available in the park and most people will be friendly and respectful. The speed limit is 10 mph going into the park driveway, 15 mph on Shoreline Drive. This can be a relaxing spot as long as you cannot bring alcoholic beverages in the park.
