Wahlburgers @ Hy-Vee

Very good quality burger at a fair price for sure. Served hot and all the toppings were fresh and tasty. I would definitely go back again.

Not sure why this place doesn't have a better rating. Burgers, fries and tots were all good and the cashier was helpful with recommendations. Great deal, only $10 for Burger meal combo. Food came out quickly and the tots and fries were in cute little metal baskets. Give it a try!

I don't normally write a review on places but I have to in this instance. I had high hopes of going in and having a good burger but that was not the case. We went in (2 adults 1 child) , we ordered the BBQ bacon burger, OFD burger, chili cheese fries and egg rolls. Both burgers were kind of cooked to medium but were over cooked and they had absolutely no flavor, the burgers were not seasoned at all with anything. Absolutely the worst burgers I've ever had. The chili cheese fries came without cheese and when we asked to have cheese added, it came back with queso cheese on it, made it 20 times worse. The egg rolls tasted like yesterday's dried chicken , shredded and then deep fried. It was served with a side of mayo. The lady that was serving us apologized for the mistakes but she said she doesn't normally work evenings and even brought us free appetizer cards for a future visit. I don't know if it's a lack of management/ quality control or just nobody caring in general but we were just hoping for a better experience. Definitely never going back there.

Had to wait a long time to put in our order and once we began to order it was chaotic because of the kids (they order at the counter before going into be seated). Then there wasn't any regular coffee and it didn't get filled even as I write this. Three of us wanted water but they only had two water cups. Now we're waiting and waiting to our food and the kids -- and the adults too -- are getting restless. The food came, but no forks. The kids ordered shakes and they came after they'd finished eating, when I'm sure the kids had forgotten them just as the adults did. We felt a little sorry for the woman that seemed to be taking care of everything outside of the kitchen

We ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The burger was a frozen Pattie, supposed to be medium but definitely well done and absolutely no taste, bacon was extremely overcooked, like chewing on gravel. Avocado spread and bbq sauce were barely there and the bun was ice cold. Waited 30 minutes for a meal that cost $40 just to be severely disappointed. The Wahlburgs should be ashamed to have their name on this and HyVee should be as well.

They have messed up my order 3 out 4 times I've been here. And today they forgot to give me my food, I had to remind them. They really need to train these kids better because this is a disaster!

Over priced, horrible food. The server was extremely helpful for our issues but we will never be coming back. We spent over $45 on the two of us to not even half way finish our dinner. The fried pickles weren't even breaded, just floured and deep fried and we sent back for a refund. The wings were bland and the chicken ranch sandwich tasted like fish and had almost no ranch... you can tell it's a frozen patty they fried.Hy-Vee on 98th and Q

Second visit. The "well-done" burger was still pink in the middle (barely medium) and the one that "medium" was definitely rare and dripping juices through the bun. French fries looked appetizing but were barely warm. The onion straws were very tasty. Not going back.

Waited for 10 minutes before anyone came from the back to take my order. Then they said it would be a half an hour before our food would be ready. Hy vee does not run this restaurant well at all. This is the third time i have had a bad experience at this location. 96th and Q.

Honestly it's pretty gross, you'd get a better tasting burger at mcdonalds. Also the onion rings were so skinny it was basically like eating a basket of those fried onions you put on green bean casserole
