I called as I had some questions about my contacts. Half of the contacts in the box were ripped, which I know is not their fault, however the receptionist was super rude and said it wasn't their problem so i asked for my prescription information so I could go elsewhere. She put me on hold for the owner and when he picked up he immediately began yelling saying if I wasn't going to be buying contacts from them he didn't have time for me. He was extremely rude and didn't even let me explain that my issue wasn't with them I just wanted help with how to get the damaged contacts replaced. I will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone which is a shame since the actual Dr. is the nicest best Dr I've ever seen. Your only as strong as your weakest link and this place is extremely weak in respect to the way they treat paying customers.

That afternoon I was in for my exam and ordered my glasses, and by Thursday they were ready for pick-up.Small town feel equals personalized attention at Wahl, and that's what I got. There are reasons they've been in business since 1937: great customer service, knowledge and prompt service.Support local business and consider going with Wahl for your next eye appointment or set of glasses.

Needed a new eye doctor. New to the Midwest. It was not a good visit. Not only did Dr. Wahl not do ANY tests for glaucoma, myopia, etc. He charged my insurance for the services he never rendered and then tried to talk me into buying the most expensive bifocals when I barely need them. I will never return!

I now see why Wahl Optical consistently wins the 'Best of Council Bluffs" award. Excellent customer service. Friendly staff. Great selection of frames.Willing to work with you if you have issues to solve problems, whether or not it's another optical business that was at fault. Satisfaction guaranteed for me. Bob does the right thing.

I could not have had a better experience. I was long overdue for an eye exam, I called Wahl Optical and they got me in the next day. They did a thorough eye exam and asked several times if I had any questions. When I went to pick out my frames, I was expecting pressure to purchase from them. She did not do that at all. I did find the perfect frames there and did buy them, and to my surprise they were name brand and affordable.The whole team was fun to work with. I highly recommend Wahl Optical to anyone that is needing a fantastic eye Dr. and a staff that is friendly and helpful.Can't wait to pickup my new Harley Davidson Glasses. Thank you so much!Cindi L

Such an amazing eye doctor. As soon as you walk in the door, you're met with a very welcoming staff and clean environment. The doctor is incredibly nice and explains everything. They also have good variety of frames to choose from thats always changing. If your looking for a good and friendly eye doctor, definitely check them out!

There are not enough stars here to rate how I really feel about the service at Wahl Optical! I was long overdue for my exam and need for new glasses which I made very clear & was obvious with my prescription change. They were spot on about how long it would take and when she called me to tell me my glasses were in, I mentioned that since I live & work in Omaha, I would try and make it before they close at 5:30pm. Without any hesitation she told me she would bring them to me that night so that I would be able to see! And that is exactly what she did!! This is why I continue to drive over from Omaha to Wahl Optical. And I love my new glasses which they assisted me in picking out... Thanks Again ~ Laurel J

Wahl Optical cares about their customers. Always asking about family and always great results. The contacts I ordered came in quickly. I had never wore contacts and they sat down and showed me how to put them in and let me sit in their place and practice. Gave me a few great tips. I grew up in a small town and this place makes you feel like your are back in a small town.

Great experience. Whenever I place my order for my contacts, I normally get them within a day or two. I have purchased several sunglasses from them as well. The prices are very good and they also have a great selection of frames.
