The food was pretty good! Love the concept of creole + tex mex. I wish it was spicier considering the crossover. Had the shrimp nachos and it was very tasty. We were an extremely large group and they accommodated us and made sure everyone was taken care of. I will say, $1 extra for avocado might not be worth it lol for 3 small slices of avocado.

This was the second time eating here and it was so good. It was slow so it was nice and quiet. The service is good and they made sure all was ok.

Delicious Mexican food, we enjoyed the carne asada and surf and turf tacos. Our tacos were on the spicy side and delicious I'm not sure if that was their normal seasoning or if the cook was just heavy handed on our order but it was tasty and we were perspiring;) the ambiance was raised back they also served beer on draft. A lot of people were dining it and taking out orders.

Service was OK I was the only customer in the place. I ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco with a side of beans and rice. The tacos had a not heated tortilla with no sauce it was incredibly bland and for 15$ it was a huge disappointment. Very dry expensive boring tacos. For that kinda money I shouldn't have to drown my food in cholula sauce just for some flavor. Will not be going back. Plus an employee was parked in a handicap spot so I had to park elsewhere just to go eat. Seems kinda messed up .

I give Voodoo Taco a 5/5. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I'm not from Nebraska; I visited for school purposes. After trying Voodoo Taco last year, I had to come back--twice! I always order the bowls, and on certain days, they are $2.00 off. You can't beat that! The food is super delicious. I tried their spicy sauce, which initially looked questionable and a bit watered-down, but it turned out to be great! I had the fried chicken bowl with cilantro-lime rice and added chipotle ranch--*chef's kiss*. I highly recommend giving it a try whenever you can. You can even build your own bowl. The sky's the limit. FYI, my husband got the nachos.Happy eating!

I had visited a few other locations of Voodoo Taco in the past, but never this one. It was a good experience with friendly staff, quick service, and a fun atmosphere. The ambiance is very laid back with a voodoo/skulls motif, and murals of fiery images on the walls. You order at the front counter and they bring your order to your table (or at least they did when we were there, but we were one of only a few folks inside - not sure if it's different when they are super busy),We started with the Street Corn, which was pretty good, but we had eaten the street corn at other Voodoo Taco locations a few years back and it had a creamy semi-sweet kind of sauce on it that you mixed in, but this didn't not have that and was a little too smoky with no respite from that flavor that the previous sweet sauce had helped with. I'm not sure if they changed that recipe since we last had it, but I preferred the old version. They also had a special when we popped in called "Pinheads" that we ordered. They were tempura battered slices of corn-on-the-cob with Cotija cheese and sriracha aioli drizzled on top. They were super delicious and surprisingly extremely filling. The sriracha aioli sauce on top was excellent, and would have been great to add to the Street Corn. For our tacos, we had:-Texan: This was just a normal classic beef taco, with lettuce, and cheese. A very safe choice, but we added a side of the Sriracha Aioli sauce that was on the Pinheads and that took it from a 7 to a 10!-Dirty Bird: This was my favorite, and it definitely has a kick! It's topped with queso, bacon, pico, and chipotle ranch. The protein pieces are super crunchy fried chicken bits if you're not a lover of crunch, but I am!-Baja Fish: I wasn't a huge fan of this, as it was sort of just a piece of fish with cabbage and avocado. The menu said it had a sriracha sauce but mine did not arrive with that, so that was a disappointment.-Green Ghost Pork: I was afraid this would be way too spicy, but it actually wasn't at all. Maybe because of the other toppings on it (cheese, green chili, onions) kind of evening it out? It actually wasn't even as spicy as the Dirty Bird, even though this had ghost chili in it.If you're a fan of tacos, with many different flavors and options, Voodoo Taco is definitely a pretty good option to try out a few of their recipes. You may find a new favorite!

The cashier was super helpful in selecting our taco. The tacos themselves were very good and very balanced. The nachos were for sure disappointing tho. They use obviously not housemate chips and the queso is, like, MLB stadium cheese. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. Avoid the nachos tho.

This is for the location in Aksarben. Food: Tacos are quite good. I wish they had more hot/heat options. There is one "hot" taco listed and it is quite hot (Green Ghost Pork Taco). If you've ever been to a Thai restaurant and asked for "Thai" or "native" hot, Voodoo Taco's hot taco is that hot. It was good, but hiccups, sweating, and redness followed. (With that said, I will order it again.) The tacos are pretty highly priced, though. They're good, but over $5 for one taco is a bit much. (B)Service: It depends on how busy they are, as they usually only have one person taking orders, checking out, and getting drinks. In one instance while I was there, the man checking out very obviously pointed to the tip jar and was quite upset when I had no cash. Awkward. (C)Ambiance: They have a decent number of TVs and the seats are comfortable / tables clean.Beer selection: Not a great selection. They had the standard BudCoorsMiller and a few local beers. Nothing spectacular. (B-)
