Solid 3.5. My daughters school had the Voodoo Taco Truck come in for an Alumni event at their Homecoming. Two guys in the truck, and there was a long line. They were friendly and while there was a wait for food, I think they kept up pretty well. From a food perspective, the offerings are limited, 3 types of tacos, and chips and salsa, or chips and queso. As this is a fairly new food truck I believe, not a bad idea to do a few things, but do them right. It would be nice to have more options to choose from though.I had the Alligator Taco, and an order of chips and queso. The taco came out warm, not hot, but was tasty. The Alligator is in sliced sausage form, and is definitely worth trying. I do like the seasoning on their chips, but to me the queso is a bit different. This could completely be personal preference, and I did finish it all, but the flavor is definitely unique, so that can be a positive or negative depending on your taste buds.Decent taco and would grab one again if I was nearby where they were parked.

I've been to the other two location in Omaha and was always very impressed. I stopped in tonight at the Aksarben location and ordered two fried chicken tacos and cheese and rice to go, since I was with a friend that was getting an order for a friend. I ordered one 'dirty bird' style friend chicken taco with no onion and the other standard fried chicken taco. When I got home, both of them were dirty bird and covered in onion, to the point that it seemed like I would have ordered extra onion. The cheese and rice was ordered with holding the pico on top, but it was a solid half pico in comparison to the rice. My bag also lacked the two sauces I asked for. I'm severely disappointed with the outcome of this visit. I was thrilled to see a Voodoo that was semi close to me, but now I know that I'll either make the drive out west.

I had tried the original Voodoo Taco on North 90th a few months back and already had my vision of what this Food Truck would be like. I was wrong. They are usually in Benson during weekend evenings, but I found them on West Maple this afternoon. I ordered the first two of three tacos listed on their menu (I was told they will add a few more once they figure out how to use the truck room better) and saw two small packaged items at the bottom of my bag. They had four sauces on the table out from, the first was a Habanero Sauce, another was something that I was told was hotter than Ghost Peppers (I avoided even touching that bottle) a sweet chili sauce and another I couldn't decipher. When I finally opened my tacos, they were a regular sized soft shell taco, but crammed filled with ingredients. The Pork Carnitas was just what you would expect, but with nice fresh herbs and onions on top, and the Barbacoa Beef was an evenly seasoned BBQ Taco (and I am not a huge BBQ seasoning fan). I was surprisingly delighted by the tacos, they were above what I was expecting. They are at a variety of places, so you will have to check their Facebook Page to keep up with them.

The queso was bland had no flavor. Would like a bigger taco for the price you pay. I find it a rip off to pay almost 5 dollars for a taco that you can eat in 2 bites. Also we waited about 15 mins for our food. Very slow service.
