SEPHORA is nestled in this charming shopping center, easily accessible, with a staff eager to assist and products always in stock. They offer a wide range of amazing name brand skincare products, makeup, haircare, perfumes, and so much more. However, the prices are a bit higher here than what you would pay at your local drug store. And they offer free tutorial classes if you want to take them when they are available.

Since 2004, I've been wandering around Village Pointe. Once as a teen with just a few bucks to catch a movie with friends, to now as an adult, with adult money (and teenage impulses.) I've loved how over the last 20 years it's stayed relatively the same visually, which tugs at my nostalgic heart strings, but they've updated store fronts and facades. Staples like the movie theater, cold stone creamery, the funny bone and Johnny's steakhouse remain, but cool new stores like Warby Parker, Lulu Lemon, the Apple store, and local food spots like their ramen shop have settled in nicely. I actually have been stopping at VP almost monthly to check out new find at Altar'd State or Offline athletics. It's really convenient. There is almost no bad parking. Of course, you want that main strip slot, but if you have to park by Scheels, or behind Paradise Bakery, theres lot of free parking.VP also host a ton of events throughout the year like the summer farmers market, the pumpkin and tree events, and their weekly concert series. There is always something happening at VP. The facilities team keeps it clean and prestine all year round,

Another fun time at Village pointe this morning. We arrived just as the shopping center was opening on this gorgeous Sunday morning. The shopping center did look very pretty as new flowers have been planted recently during the spring time and the traffic again because it was early was near empty. That was nice and helped to find parking up the Main Street through the center. Always enjoy it here and when music nights are in and special holiday events... it's usually a must go to.

Village Pointe is one of the only shopping centers I go to as there is everything I need ! Lush , Old Navy , Apple Store and coffee and so much more ! I rarely even bother trying to park up front as parking is so very limited . Saw an employee one morning taking a close spot and walking into the business they work at which did irritate me as they should be parking in back unless they are not physically able to. I do love how they decorate the center round a bout through out the Holidays .

Apparel shopping wise, this is a great stop for young adult women and women in general who are young (or seasoned) professionals. While Oakview Mall and Westroads mall cater more to the departments stores and teen stores like Forever21, HM, Buckle, Pacsun, Village pointe is the home of higher end "adult" labels like Jcrew, Banana Republic, Anntaylor, White House Black Market, etc. VP also hosts the only LUSH, full sized Sephora and Apple Store in town- three of my favorites.Do you like yoga and working out? Athletica and LuluLemon are here! Do you like home decor? Pier one! I find most of the stores here women might like better than men, but at the center of the strip is big player Scheels- a sporting apparel and sporting utility store. This is the store that will convince your husband or man in your life to come along, along with the Apple Store or novelty gifts at the Art of Shaving. As for food, VP has a large variety of choices that would make any normal American happy. Cheeseburger in Paradise, Kona Grill, Bravo Italian, BRIX, paradise bakery and cafe, Firebirds, and Johnnys Steakhouse to name a few. For treats, Cold stone or Scooters. KOBE steakhouse and a frozen yogurt place are in the strip outside of the shopping plaza. While many people would be happy with these dining options and I have tried many of them and they are suitable, I wish Vp had more diversity or local flair here-not just the normal chain mall crap. I would like to see some cool independent restaurants here like we have in midtown and downtown Omaha. Even if it's a local chain like Flagship (blue, roja, plank, Blatt) opening here. The current options are fine, but maybe they can consider adding a few non chain eateries. Also, there is a movie theater here that I have never been to!

Village Pointe is an interesting outdoor mall in West Omaha. It has major name recognized stores and smaller unknown boutiques. There are several decent restaurants and others close by. I usually will go to the Best Buy or Bed, Bath, & Beyond store. Parking is usually competitive especially during the holidays. I avoid this shopping center during the Thanksgiving through the Christmas weeks because of this. The favorite spot for me would be the Marcus Theatres located on the far west end of the shopping center. Live performances occur during the summer months near Bravo Restaurant. Most bands are about average but it attracts a good group that sit in chairs and bring a beverage. Overall, it is a safe place to shop even during the late hours.

Love this shopping area. Great selection of stores. And good mix of eateries, from fast food to casual to upscale. We enjoy Paradise Bakery, Orange Leaf, Fuzzy Tacos, Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, Pier I, Sephora, Marcus Theater, and many others. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, so I less you're okay with a fair amount of walking, come at a less busy time, such as mid-afternoon on a weekday. It gets especially busy here during the holidays or on the weekend evenings when they have music outside.

I second the previous reviewer's description of this shopping center...it IS like shopping here in California! Santana Row is a great comparison to this shopping experience! Village Pointe gets a 5 star rating because:1) It's outdoors which is the best2) New and clean looking3) Pretty looking and landscaped well4) Lots of GREAT shops both high end and general shopping stores you find in malls5) Plenty of dining options6) LOTS of parking both in the lot and along the street (which must be great in the colder months)7) Accessible for wheelchairs and strollers

Nice outdoor shopping center... I seem to end up here than the other malls even though it's not at all close to my house. I think it's worth mentioning that on weekend evenings the place is literally swarming with packs of teens and pre-teens (under driving age, I assume). So if that's not your scene, take that into consideration... and don't even think about the movie theater. On a Friday night you would swear you wandered into a high school social hour in the lobby. I thought there was some kind of special event going on, but the ticket sales clerk informed me 'this is how it always is'.All that being said, it's a nice place to shop, and the only Apple and Coach stores in Omaha for now. I also like to stop in z gallerie. All the stores are well maintained. Overall I'm not much of a shopper so I'm sure my review is a little skewed in that regard. These are just my observations.

Village Pointe is Omaha's fanciest shopping mall. That's why it's located way out in BFE. That's why it was such a hit when it first opened as the city's first open air mall (which sounds great until winter hits). Go here for your Coach bags and your Apple repairs. There are plenty of other shops selling things that are very, very fragrant. And expensive. To me it feels kind of like a Disney theme park. Mostly because your experience is manufactured. Are you a teen hanging out unsupervised after dark? You better go elsewhere pal, because you'll be kicked out of here. Really into '90s light alterna-rock? Well, they'll be softly playing it from all corners of VP day in and day out. Want to get a good cup of coffee? Too bad, you'll have to go to Scooter's. Dining? You have your pick of popular xyz chain. And when you step outside of the main VP strip, you realize what it is: an uppity shopping mall in the middle of a sea of parking located in suburbia, all surrounded by giant, winding roads that are confusing to navigate. Seriously, the pedestrian experience for the area as a whole was not taking in to consideration. If some residential and office space had been included with this project, it would've made a much more vibrant development. And a much more desirable place to visit. I'll stick to Westroads for my shopping mall musts. Unless it's another visit to Apple's Genius Bar.
