Fair food for a fair price. The prime rib is a bit on the spendy side, but the rest of the menu seems on point.It's a nice place to go when you want a home cooked meal but don't want to cook.

My sister brought this back to her place to treat us for finishing up some chores for her. We got the prime rib with baked potato and salad. The salad was your basic tossed salad with a cherry tomato and a slice of cucumber. Nothing really special here. The baked potato was wrapped in aluminum foil and hot, hot, hot! The weird thing is that they covered the au jus with a lid but didn't cover the sour cream they put in, as well, so that kind of went everywhere.But the best part of the meal was the prime rib. They cooked it well and the seasoning was great. I don't know what the value was like but it was a decent meal.

Friendly people and delicious food. Nice drive up to Blair to eat here. Yummy battered onion rings and toasted ravioli for starters. Probably the best toasted ravioli I've ever had. Cooked from fresh NOT FROZEN. Lunch of 1/2 lb burger patty with baked potato plus tender, juicy fried chicken and mashed potatoes and choice of gravy. Everything was great. Will be back!(Tables are distanced, but not masks and I had to drop a star. Normally this is a five star rating)

I've been to Viking several more times since my original review, and I've decided it deserves an extra star. My husband is consistently impressed with the prime rib, and there are several things on the menu that I enjoy too. My current favorites are the smothered chicken sandwich and the eggplant parmesan. I also want to give credit to the homemade ranch dressing, it's really good. I am picky about my ranch (not a fan of Hidden Valley), but this makes the cut. So enjoy a nice drive up to Blair, and if you try a dessert, do me a favor and mention it in your review. I've still never managed to save room yet!

I may be a little biased since one of my good friends works there, but I love this place! The staff is always nice and not just because we are friends. The tables are always clean and the floor is always vacuumed. There are lots are cool nickknacks on the walls but they are always dusted. Their food is so good and flavorful. The brownie and ice cream dessert I got is amazing and is the perfect sharing size. They are always so good about refills and they are great for parties! I would totally recommend this place to big and small groups!

If you like home cooked comfort food, this is a place you need to go! The service was great too!

Inside needs updating has not been updated since the late 80s. The steak and shrimp we received where mediocre at best. The sides tasted like they where microwaved.

Always a great place to eat. Fried mushrooms are excellent as well as the Prime Rib that they have on Friday and Saturday. Service has always been top notch and it's a fun little place to eat.

The food was delicious and good comfort food on a cold winter evening. The resteraunt was very clean. The menu has many good choices, the homemade chicken and noodles is the best I have had. The owner is sincerely concerned that your food experience is good which is appreciated. Looking forward to the next time we eat there. Our family will definitely be back.
