This was a fantastic little place to stay. Check in was super easy, and the themed rooms were adorably decorated and SO clean, with all the amenities you need! We stayed in the Garden Room and the Wisteria Room. Beds were very comfortable too!

If you're in the habit of traveling in areas beyond the reach of H*liday Inn, M*rriott, and the like, you know quality among the indies varies incredibly. The Victorian Inn is, I'm pleased to say, a cut above much of what you'll find out there -- not above "the competition," as this remains the only lodging option in Superior, but well above what you might expect in this part of the world. The facility has a delightfully split personality, with rooms for both those seeking the Victorian / nostalgia / kitsch vibe and those simply after a tidy, quiet, comfortable place to sleep, clean up, and catch the news. I'm the latter sort, and the "old building" -- a renovated motel-style facility -- is a nice bargain. There's a decent diner-style restaurant (also indie, the Velvet Rose) about a block up the way, and a Pizza Hut across the street. I do suggest that you bring your own toiletries if you're particular -- they're provided, but Cashmere Bouquet isn't all that -- but otherwise I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by this friendly, unassuming facility.

The Victorian Inn is always clean and very comfortable. I am kind of picky and I always can get extra pillows and blankets. The hotel side rooms are definitely bigger and nicer than the motel rooms, but I just stayed in the motel side and was very comfortable. When so many places are getting old and need of repair it is good to know you can always count on the Victorian Inn for an enjoyable place to stay.

The accommodations were nice and our family had a wedding and we filled the hotel. The woman at the desk told us that she didn't want us to be in the dining area, because she was going to be playing cards with friends. We had my grandfather, my aunts, uncles and cousins. We then said that will be fine and we will just get together at a room to catch up. She then told us that that was not acceptable either. As I previously said we FILLED up the hotel, do we not deserve to be able to sit somewhere and exchange pleasantries from family that we haven't seen since the last wedding in the family? Very unhappy with the way we were treated.
