Varsity Sports Cafe & Roman Coin Pizza

First time and we loved it! I had a salad ...good size too...and a Thai pizza...they had half a pepperoni and half chicken mushroom bacon pizza...blue moon and Paloma beer were a hit!! Very nice atmosphere ..sports bar..tv...family vibe ..great server as well ..we showed our appreciation for her excellent service too!

I met one of the waitresses and she recommended this place.We went one Saturday afternoon. The intent was to look at the place, sit for a little while, and have an appetizer. I was told it looked small but was actually larger than appeared. I would disagree it is a moderate sized sports bar. We had the Onion rings and a beer.The ambiance was quiet, but then we were looking for that and it was early afternoon.Plenty of TV's were available, at this time there was nothing we were interested in watching so I can't comment on how willing they would be by finding a TV for me to watch. This has been an issue some place when we are looking for a game.I liked the inside look it was comfortable and would enjoy going there to eat sometime.I was told they are well known for their home made pizza's and we thought of ordering one, but it was an in between time too late for lunch and too early for dinner.I want to emphasize that I would NOT feel intimidated or at risk to go into this place just the 2 of us, older male and female.Consider this when going out.

This is a great spot for nicely priced lunches that offer plenty of food. I usually go with their personal pizza and salad, but this time I tried the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with side salad. My sub was filled with shaved beef, peppers, cheese, and onions that tasted great. Their service is always fast, and the servers are friendly. Plus, you get rewards with the Pinpoint app.

We walked over to this location to get a late night snack. We were so glad we did! Leesha was a great waitress and patient with us while figuring out what we wanted. The meat lovers deep dish pizza hit the spot! It was cozy and very spacious. Love the couch seating and placement of tvs. Recommend!

I met my husband for lunch one day, because this was a middle ground for us to meet. The lady working behind the bar was very nice and friendly and grabbed our drinks quickly. We split the lunch pizza that a ton of toppings on it, and we both ordered side salads. Overall it's somewhat dark for the restaurant appearance, but it appears to be very clean.

"Beer battered onion rings. Awesome."That's it. That's the review. Come here for good to very good sports bar food and the Roman Coin pizza. Lots of flatscreens and music. But if you're a fan of beer battered onion rings, go to Varsity. Served with a spicy Southwestern Ranch dipping sauce. I like a splash of malt vinegar on 'em.

We have only done takeout pizza from varsity, but it is our go to place for pizza now!! So many options on the menu, but the Southwestern hand tossed pizza is always a must!

This is by far my favorite pizza ever! Staff is super friendly and always remembers our order! And and the cheesy bread omggggg

I had to sit for 15 minutes just to get a soda & a menu. Then another ten minutes to order. All I wanted was a pepperoni pizza! You seat yourself so no one knows you are here. A waitress was serving the table next to me but never took my order & instead the bartender had to help me. I had to move my seat because no one was coming.

Made it back here the other night. Still has the best mango habanero wings in town, IMO. The meat pizza was excellent and the service was stellar.
