Valentino's

Food was delicious but when I got up out of the booth, a spring poked into the crash of my pants, ripping a hole. When I let the lady at the front know when I paid, she said sorry and that was it. So when I explain to the owner that it ripped a hole in my jeans, he said sorry I'll go fix it. No offer to take care of the $80 pair of buckle jeans I was wearing for work that are now ruined.The food was great, but I thought at least an offer to cover my meal or pay for my pants.

Visited this location during lunch hour with a group, little to no traffic. I enjoyed their spaghetti meat sauce, tasted like something I would eat at home. The meatballs were good. I also had chicken, corn, salad, brownies, and ice cream. Enjoyed my food, paid a little over $9 for the buffet (water to drink). I believe it's worth the price and wouldn't mind returning if I were in the area.

Tonight at 6:30 pm, my family of 8, ate at the Columbus, Nebraska location. All the food was cold. Terrible. Very disappointed!

I usually don't go back to restaurants if the quality of food isn't exceptional. However I decided to give the place one more try. I took my wife there only to get the same quality of food. Every pasta sauce tastes canned and very untraditional. I have nothing bad to say about the staff or environment as everything was clean and everyone was polite. I just hate to pay for a meal that doesn't taste good when you go out to eat.

Valentino's is a Nebraska tradition and the Columbus store lives up to the reputation. Not only does Valentino's have great Pizza, and pasta. They have a very large buffet with pizzas, pastas, lasagna, salad bar, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, tacos, nachos, and soft serve ice cream (I am sure I've missed some things). The place is always very clean and the staff is both attentive and friendly. They have a large dining room and a mid-sized party room. If you are looking to grab a pizza to eat at home, or looking for a nice casual meal out, Valentino's is always a good choice.

This is my 14 year old son's fav in Columbus, my wife thinks its one star for the salad bar. If you want to chow on lots of pasta and pizza, come for the buffet.

Had lunch on August 11 2024 food was not up to par broasted chicken was cold , salad bar was not fresh, cheese on pizza tasted different like they cha get brand it didn't brown, but crust was overcooked. Very disappointed. Also waitress never came had to go find my own plates.

Horrible place counters were dirty and staff was rude. There food is very grainy and cold like it was left out all day.

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. The man who greeted out party was very rude and wouldn't speak to us when we paid. The price we paid was sufficient for the food, but was not worth the poor service.

This place always disappoints. I don't know why I come back once a year to see if they have improved because they haven't. Friday night 6-7 (during lent) The entire hour we were there I did not see one cheese pizza. They had chicken strips when we first arrived but soon ran out. The lady at the table next to us waited 20 minutes before asking how soon they were bringing more out because her kids would like more. The 'cook' informed her they don't make chicken strips on Friday because of lent... ??They offered popcorn shrimp but couldn't keep up with demand. Noodles were cold not kept hot at all, same breadsticks the entire time we were there, not once did they bring out any fresh. Pizza choices hamburger, pepperoni or some special pizza with jalapeños. Or the same two chicken Alfredo pieces that looked days old. At one point they only had two pizzas on the buffet. Many times people came and went from their table with the same empty plate due to lack of pizza, shrimp, whatnot. The only thing going for this place is the decent salad bar. High chairs not wiped off between uses. Food was still present from last child when brought to our table and very sticky. Not worth $11.25 per person. +drink and tax. Go elsewhere.
