USPS

Still a work in progress, but this mail center will be the new pick up spot for packages that they were unable to leave at your house (previously was the pacific st main station). It will not be a mail counter for services. This location will only be for pick up and storage of packages and used as a warehouse from what I learned from the workers. It's also referred to "Pierce st-new", although it's not on Pierce. My slip I received from the postmaster said "Leavenworth Station".

The USPS Mail System in Omaha, NE in general is beyond SORRY! And this place takes the cake. Like it's been at least 4-5 times my mail has been put in the wrong place. And I'm literally thinking someone has stolen my package but instead the mailmen and women just don't know how to use simple fundamentals of reading! It's not hard match the address on the package to the corresponding mailbox. That's literally all it is!

Went to USPS to drop off my numerous business packages. They told me they could only scan three of them because there was a line (that I waited in). I told her I like to have them scan them in when I'm there because if I don't then sometimes they won't go out until the next day. She fought me, scanned in only three and had me leave. USPS, where MORE business equals LESS service. I know this review won't actually help because when you're the government The rules of competition will never apply.

If I could give no stars, I would. This place is beyond frustrating and incompetent. I've done hold mail requests twice when I've gone on vacation and unfortunately this is the post office where I have to pick up my mail. Both times I specified in my request that I would pick up the accumulated mail. The first time, the carrier delivered it to my mailbox without notifying me so I drove all the way over here and no one could figure out where my mail was. I ended up checking my mailbox days later and the so called people at this post office didn't even bother to call and follow up. This second time, I once again specified to hold ALL mail and packages while I was away for 2 weeks yet the carrier delivered my package to my apartment like 2 days after my hold mail request went into effect. I had to continuously call a lady named Kim about 3-4 times in one day just to pick up my package and hold it after I was assured that my package would be held. I finally come back from vacation, head to the post office to pick up my accumulated mail and there's no package or mail for me! I went home to check my mailbox and package room, there is also no mail. To say that I am livid is an understatement. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to speak with a supervisor because all supervisors go home by 3 yet they close at 4:30. With?So I have to go to bed not knowing where any of my stuff is and that's supposed to be okay? I am never doing a hold mail request ever again because these people are lousy and irresponsible with other people's belongings.
