Uncle Jarrol's Pub-B-Que

Another new place to try while visiting home. I had the pulled pork meal and boy did it deliver on the meat. I'm hoping because it was close to closing and things were just older but only enjoyed one of the many sides we had. The corn salad was good but not without the fritos on it. Macaroni and Cheese tasted like what I can get at KFC. The potato and macaroni salads were really bland.

First visit was excellent, 5 star. Second visit was so so, 3 star. The first visit the food was exceptional, fresh and specular. The second time a bit like a preprepared cafeteria 'cue. I'll average it a 4 stars. I will need visit it a third time to see which version I get. I would definitely go back, but my wife who was only there with me the second time (and is a BBQ snob) is a bit gun shy and will take some convincing to revisit. I understand that it must be extremely hard to run a restaurant, but I sincerely hope the owner will get his consistency evened out producing the meal I received on the initial visit. I see the potential for this to be a sweet joint to get some tasty 'Cue in The Fork if the owner treats each day as a BBQ competition, and I sincerely hope he does and succeeds!

Great brisket and coleslaw!! You could add something to the corn salad to give it some flavor.

Pretty pricey! Cornbread not great and prime rib sandwich was mostly fat definitely not worth 14.99! Brisket and Say Uncle sandwiches were good. We will eat somewhere different next time.

This was not very good. The "ribs" tasted and acted like they were cooked in the crock pot. The brisket was good but nothing special. Even the beer was not good. Service was ok. Not the friendliest. I would not go back.

Fabulous BBQ with an on site smoker. Very generous portions and affordable prices. Great atmosphere. Don't let the appearance from the outside fool you. Go in and enjoy!!!

1st time stopping in at the restaurant. had had some of his meat before when he was at town celebrations. Had the smoked meat loaf, pulled pork sandwich and his smoked bacon. All were very good. Sideswe had were beans, coleslaw, and corn salad. Enjoyed each of these also. I was very happy with the portions fortheprice also. Give it a try. I will keep going back when I can and then will see if the rating goes up.
