Wonderful guys at Ty's! After last nights hurricane-winds storms, we needed our generator DESPERATELY to power our well's pump for our herd of horses. Other small engine places refused to help us get it started without an appointment- TWO WEEKS LATER!Ty's techs fixed the problem in a few minutes, at a VERY reasonable price, and got us back home quickly to get things running and then get started clearing up the mess from the storm!WE WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE for SERVICE!!

I don't give a five star to anyone. Ty's delivers what is expected. Professional installation, with quality products and good advise. they have product available so you don't have to wait. I'd recommend this company.

We had so many problems with our Raptor mower we bought last year. We bought it in Grand Junction Colorado and had the worst customer service. Had it in to be looked at several times when they just kept telling me the problem was me. Worst service ever. HOWEVER, while visiting family in Omaha/Gretna, my son told me to stop down at Ty's. These guys listened to our story and were floored at how we were treated and told us that these were known problems with our mower. We drove home (12 hr drive) and came back 2 weeks later to have them fix all these problems. I can't tell you how awesome they were and they even honored our warranty. It is a long drive but well worth it! Thanks guys!!

I would without hesitation, highly recommend going to Ty's for ALL of your outdoor power needs. I bought a new Ariens Razor mower and the upgrade dual-laser cut blade kit from Menards, and I got to use it for the first time and the Briggs and Stratton engine purges just rolling over the ground within the first 10 feet! Spitting grass around like it was wet, which it was not. I was cutting at the highest setting due to our heat waves lately. The gears wouldn't disengage for the self-propel, even without using the self-propel! I called the Ariens CO several times and after getting through, they said that there's nothing they will do. I'd have to take it to an Ariens dealer/repair shop to have it serviced. Ariens is "passing the buck", on a NEW machine!So, I took it to Ty's which is 15 miles away from where I live. I initially spoke to Ryan who helped me unload the mower and I explained to him what my situation is. He listened very well and was very empathetic. I started the mower and he right away could see that it was hard to pull, and he wasn't pulling the starter rope. I engaged the wheels and they wouldn't disengage so I manually rolled it back and forth, still running, and the wheels finally disengaged. I told him between the mower and the upgraded blade kit, I was in at $600 and I am not putting anymore money into this mower, it's brand new, right out of the box! We both declared. Ryan could feel my frustration and I think he was to with the Ariens product. He checked it in with me and said that they'd be in touch.They are a busy place and very pleasant people. To my surprise in just a couple of days, Shane calls me and says what they found with the Briggs and Stratton engine. He proceeds to explain to me that they removed the valve cover to inspect the valve train- compression release is not working on the camshaft. They need to tear down the brand new engine and replace the camshaft! Invoice 301620. The parts are about 2 weeks out! Shane understood the situation and he would contact Briggs and Stratton. Briggs comes back to DECLINE the repair and DID NOT PAY Ty's for their time for the diagnosis! By now, anybody reading this review can understand how bad this is against Ariens CO and Briggs and Stratton and the message that it sends to customers ! Ty's Outdoor Power did an excellent job with there mechanics and customer service! Drive the extra miles and take your equipment to TY's! Bought a new mower an the oil filter was stuck on from the factory when I needed to do the 10 hour break-in oil change. Didn't want to have mower picked up during busy mowing season on a brand new mower. Called the service dept. and they replied on Saturday morning and had someone out on Monday. Taken are of now!!! Great courteous service!!! GREAT PLACE TO BUY AND DO SERVICE!

I want to retract my prior review. I was given as good customer service as I have ever experienced with my last dealings at Ty's OPS. Each and every person that I encountered was genuinely decent, caring and attentive to my down mower problem. Thank you to Brian H. in service especially. We were in need of a rubber snow deflector for our blade, we called and spoke with someone who quoted us a price. Drove out to Gretna, only to be told it would be $100.00 more than what was quoted on the phone. Was not willing to sale for the quoted price. Won't be going back there.
