I used to come to twisted fork all the time when I lived downtown. We would have drinks and eat the charbuffed wings which were so good! I'm sad to see that they don't have those on the menu anymore! The staff is friendly and attentive. My drink was never empty before a new one showed up! Amazing. This is such a cool space for really any occasion. Still loving twisted fork but wishing those wings would come back! While I was here I had an adult grilled cheese. It was delish but not very melted, not sure if it was supposed to be that way or not. The sweet potato fries are also so good and they have delicious ranch and blue cheese here.

I would give this place overall a 5/10.... which is unfortunate because i was looking forward to coming. My boyfriend & I chose to go here for our 1 year anniversary but I would have just rather went somewhere else. When we were seated by the hostess, she wiped down the table and seats with a wet, crusty rag which resulted in us sitting on that. Also, our waitress didn't even greet us and seemed like she hated being at her job the whole time. I ordered the ceaser salad with salmon (it's hard to fuck that up lol) but salmon was very well done like burnt at the top and the lettuce wasn't even cut up? My boyfriend got the pork chop which he said was decent. I didn't really like the ambience either, too bright in there & random decor. There were multiple nats flying around us as we were trying to eat. I'll definitely never be back or suggest it to anyone.

This claims it is chef driven with a cowboy twist. I might say hunting lodge twist, but it doesn't disappoint! It's quite a nice casual location to hang with friends. I'd imagine it might get awfully loud if it's full and if various hunting and old style saloon things offend you it may not be the place for you. It was fun in its own bizarre way. We got the fried pickles and I got the salmon sandwich. Our server was great about making sure we had whatever we needed. The fried pickles were actually pickle spears much to my surprise but I love pickles so this was the perfect ratio of fried to pickle for me. I almost remembered to take a picture of my salmon sandwich but it was so tasty I had taken several bites before it dawned on me I'd meant to take its picture. Oh well, just an excuse to go back and get another one at a future time. And actually remember to photograph it. If you're in the area give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Nice downtown vibe in a relaxed atmosphere with great food! What more could you ask for in Old Market Omaha Varied Happy hour menu with good cocktails and food choices. Nicely got in early even with a later reservation. The street tacos were FILLED with chicken and the right amount of lettuce, pico and jalapeños. Nicely spiced. Bruschetta was tasty and flavorful with a bit of a kick. A definite return visit in the future to sample the entree list.

Twisted Fork delivery by DoorDash seemed like a good idea on a cold evening. Bookguy ordered the Cowboy Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and refrigerator pickles. He said it was okay, but not in his top ten. He loved the fries I shared from my grilled cheese sandwich and fries. The fries had a coating on them that added to the flavor. I liked the four cheese sandwich. The grease factor between the fries and sandwich was pretty heavy though, so it was a hefty meal. I'd like to try the food there in person because fresh from the kitchen is best.

The vibes were great here and it was busy on a Sunday night! Service was fine, pretty average but nothing wrong in particular, just not as warm or attentive as other restaurants. Fried pickle spears were delicious. The pistou was my favorite part of the truffle chicken pistou!!! Wish the risotto had more flavor but otherwise fine experience.

We had lunch here a couple of months ago while exploring Old Market and had a delightful time. The food was great (my photo doesn't do the fried pickles justice). I had the Lunch Meatloaf and my wife had the French Dip with sweet potato fries. All delicious!

Great spot in the old market with tasty dishes and delightful salads. The Thai salmon salad, and the chicken strawberry salad were very good. The service was a little slow, but expected for lunchtime rush. They also have a full bar with lots of drink options. It gives an old country western vibe similar to a saloon.

Stopped in for lunch. A very reasonably priced entree. Meatloaf with smashed potatoes, grilled veggies, gravy and melted gouda Mac & cheese. My wife ordered a bacon, lettuce, bacon, tomato, bacon sandwich with fries. Upon trying the Mac and cheese off my plate we ordered a side of it.The waitress said after being there 8 years she eats it 3 times a week because it is that good. She is right.Definitely stop and enjoy great food in a very pleasant atmosphere.
