Turner Park is so much fun! I love the collection of restaurants and bars in the Midtown area. It also holds a special place in my heart because my husband and I got married at The Empire Room! The park always has fun activities in the summer like Jazz on the green or movie nights. We came recently for the last Night Market of the year and while it wasn't as busy/crowded as I was expecting, it was still a lot of fun! There was a band, several little shops, and even a little library through OPL where you could sign up for card or check out a book.I'm looking forward to more events here and interested in seeing what all they offer for fall and winter!

Turner park is a great city green area with lots of good restaurants and drink spots surrounding it. There's also a ton a really cool events hosted in this park including jazz on the green and Friday night market, both of which are also free. Truly so many events and just a great place to hang out. I've spent many Saturdays reading on a picnic blanket or walking around the park with a boba from thirst tea. Love this park!

There is metered street parking and commercial garages available within a reasonable walking distance from this park. There is not much to this park outside of an amphitheater and a lot of green space. That makes it primary and main use being special events. It is also popular among dog walkers though. The grounds have lights, so it is not limited to daytime events. The park is well maintained and spans seven and a half acres. It is touted as "Omaha's home for outdoor events". It is nestled in the Midtown Crossing neighborhood and is rumored to be popular among its residents. The park hosts a bunch of events. Some of its signature events include Jazz on the Green, Turner Park Night Market, Yoga in the Park, Bocce Ball Leagues, Wednesday Workouts, the Season of Lights and Playing with Fire. It averages about 150 events each year.I visited thpark when there was no event going on, but it did not stop me from seeing the great potential that the park has in hosting events. The space is priemium and perfect for events. The grounds are well maintained. The only thing that I did not see was a restroom facility. I guess events planners have to bring in port-a-pottys for their events.

I absolutely love how pretty this park is. Coming from an area with lots of trees, seeing a park with more than one big one made this park one of the top 5 in my book. One of my favorite activities this past summer has been reading on the grass underneath one of the trees. The shade from the trees sir the breeze that goes over the slight hill from around the stage makes this a wonderful place to relax. Because the weather was so funky last week i haven't been able to wander over there. The large green space acting as seating for the stage is wonderful for jazz on the green!! I've really appreciated the wide array of events that have been hosted in the park such as night markets, again jazz on the green, yoga, and so many more. I highly recommend visiting this area with a book or a picnic basket!! I'd try to go in the area a little further from dodge and closer to Farnam street, the cars on dodge can get a little noisy.

A nice park that is frequently used by the residents of Midtown Crossing apartment and condos, as well as the local midtown community. Perfect for walking the dog or relaxing. They are also the host of a medley of events and functions like farmers markets, summer movies on the lawn, jazz on the green, concerts and more.

Great looking small park. This is in the middle of a busy spot near downtown Omaha. They have a small spot for bands to come and play in the summer time. It's a great place for a local concert or to watch a movie. Check out the schedule to find out the best time to go.

Rather nice place to have a picnic and just relax with family. The grounds are very well kept, and good for running around with your children (or dogs). We enjoy coming to Jazz on the green in the summer or in the winter it's nice to look at all the pretty lights they decorate with. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and there is a free parking garage at the top of the hill.

The community, although manufactured, does a great job at booking music and other events for the Midtown Crossing park. Jazz on the Green, free movies in the summer, plays, yoga in the park etc. Easy to access with plenty of street parking. Relatively small but nice for the events.
